The rooms aren’t horrible. They don’t clean though and most of the workers there openly smoke drugs outside of the building. Make sure to not let any of them into your room they will steal your items if you leave them laying around. I had $95 worth of items and cash come up missing that I had sitting on a table. 100% do not recommend.

We stayed here for 3 months. The owners are awesome!! We loved Kimmy and Chris!! Brandy and Red were horrible. Very rude. Their room was above ours and we worked at night so we asked them not to vacuum their room while we slept, but instead they'd vacuum 3 or 4 times a day and stomp back and forth, back and forth. It was very hard to sleep. When I would address the issue, she would tell me, "it wasn't us". I believe they were fired as of now, and if not, watch out. They also wouldn't handle loud partying outside our window while the owners were away. They'd tell us if we wanted it stopped, then we needed to call the police. I thought that was their job!! Other than them making our lives miserable by not letting us sleep, the place is warm, comfortable, and quaint. Very nice bar and game room! The suite is wonderful. Without it I wouldn't have made it!!
The wifi doesn't really reach the back of the motel very well so we couldn't watch our roku. We did find 3 brown recluse 's in our room! They just need pest control.

We were staying at a 4-star hotel for a week in TN, not only was it expensive, the cleaning crews told us they were too tired to clean all of the hotel daily as they were supposed to, so our room never got serviced until we called. The staff were distant and not readily accessible nor friendly. The indoor pool was cold, the hot tub too hot, and they did not want to adjust it. The breakfast was alright, but apparently they served dinner M-W, but we did not know that until we happened upon dinner on Wednesday. Not my favorite type of experience from what I thought would be a quality hotel.

Traveling home, we stayed at America’s Best Value Inn & Suites Pinckneyville, IL. Completely different experience. Staff were accessible, from Kimmy to Mit. The hotel was safe, the pool was heated, there were pool toys provided, a game room, breakfast, and best of all the place was clean and cleaned often.

Well worth the extra miles off the main road. My family and I highly recommend this hotel.

The pictures online are deceiving, room was nothing like it was described. We arrived at 5:15 and the room still wasn’t ready due to the lady living in it for 5 years as she stated, moving out,bathroom light was painted black, a knotted baggie was found on the bathroom floor, no lightbulbs in the lamps, mirror was poorly secured and fell off of the wall while we were gone and shattered all over the floor and on luggage, minimal service at the desk, partying outside of our window in the parking lot all night long, yelling in the hallways from people who apparently live there, and doors slamming all night. Very unsettling atmosphere all together! Hotel was unable to provide adequate pillows and linen, front desk employee was unprofessional in manner and attire,walking around in bare feet and clothes that didn’t leave much to the imagination. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Do not go. People that worked there were crazy telling each other their gonna call the cops on each other rooms were dirty sticky pop or something all over the dressers and night stand literally not a fitted sheet on it just two top sheets ice machine doesn’t work literally not a thing was clean garbage in the room when we got in there

If I could score NEGATIVE STARS , I would.
There was water leaking, seeping up throug the floor boards, which I slipped on.
The sheets were filthy.
The front doors are for a casino.
The lady at the front desk, came in thru the Casino...Barefoot smoking a cigarette.
I told her I was canceling my second night.
She "upgraded" me to the jacuzzi.
Which I DID NOT WANT.
MY total was $129.00
I will be getting a full Refund.
The room smelled, it was first and I did not feel safe nor did I sleep more than 15".

Kimmy at the front desk is so genuine and friendly, I really love her. I stayed here in March 2023 and I've seen a lot of improvement since then. The pool was renovated and I had a great swim, there's now a delicious complimentary breakfast available, the lounge by the front desk has been updated, and the furnishings in the rooms have been renovated. Air conditioning worked well, beds were clean and comfortable. I'm really impressed with the improvements here and I'll continue to stay whenever I come to Pinckneyville.

Kimmy at the front desk was so nice and helpful. She really made me and my daughter feel safe and comfortable. The service was great my room was clean and neat. The feeling was very pleasant and homely. I definitely will be back
