Beautiful, clean RV Park . Reasonable priced we paid $40 for the night. Mount fresh smells of the pine trees bird of the lake . Super nice host! We will come back if we are in the area. So much better that Walmart or the Fairgrounds in Susanville Ca.

We were traveling North to the PNW & had planned to boondock on BLM near Eagle Lake. But they were all still closed for winter. We stumbled across this campground & gave it a shot. It was also barely open due to the season but the manager Jason was SO nice to let us stay. Let me tell u, this place looks like it would a FAB for summer activities, reunions, sports or even festivals! Gorgeous setting & LOTs of amenities. Tidy, safe & quiet! And very reasonably priced! Thank you!

A great place to get away and have some peace and quiet. The manager is very kind and helpful. Showers were clean. They have a pool table in the rec room, a play ground for the kids, horse shoe pits, even. A baseball field

The other reviews are older. The sewer and stuff has been repaired. I think the manager has also gotten the horseshoe pits cleaned up.

The manager has put a great deal of time and hard work into this RV Park. It has a recreation room, playground, hot showers, laundry room, wifi, and full hookups. The price per night is considerably less than anyone else in the area.

The place was severely neglected for many years, so it is definitely a work in progress. Give it a chance. There are constant improvements being done.

Jason is so welcoming and helpful. So clean and great campsites. Perfect place for kids, game room, playgrounds, horseshoes, and the lake right there. Absolutely want to come back. Thank you for your hospitality!

We did not stay at American Eagle RV Park, however we did use the RV dump ($10 for non guest) Very easy to access and pay. |There wasn't water at the dump, but we backed up to spot #28 and used the water - the manager was OK with that! We boondocked down the road at Rocky Point East and it was incredible. American Eagle RV Park looks like its very well maintained and a VERY nice park. Super cute spots and CLEAN!!!!

This RV Park is a perfect get a way. It is clean, cozy, and the new manager is awesome..... Jason, the manager, made sure I had everything I need. He was friendly, professional, and personable. I was going to stay at the RV Park next door, but found it was severely lacking in amenities. American Eagle has nice hot showers, clean bathrooms, a Laundry room, etc.... I will be recommending this place to everyone and can't wait to visit again.

I just needed a safe place to sleep in the back of my pickup for one night. I found a nice, level campsite tucked into the shade here in this park, got a shower (clean, plenty of hot water), and dozed off for a little bit. I woke up when Jason rolled up in his golf cart to collect my $20 payment, but then he explained that he needed to do some work that would noisy and kick up some dust. He asked if I would mind staying at the small guest house nearby, and of course I accepted. It's a cute little house with a gas range, full sized refrigerator, beds, AC, bath, and shower. I mentioned that I didn't have much for dinner and Jason came back with a bag of food, including a frozen pizza that really hit the spot! He also set up a TV and DVD player and brought me a bunch of movies. So kind!
