We were in town for the weekend and saw it’s a wonderful life here and it was very charming and we loved the radio broadcast of the show. Even the jingles for commercial. Great venue and a smaller seating compactly just made it more wonderful. Highly recommend great show and the staff was very good from the time we walked in and until the show ended.

The new permanent home of American Blues Theater is amazing. The on-stage and production talent, the lobby and bar, the comfortable seats, the lighting, and the audio / acoustics all combine to create an outstanding experience. Get out and enjoy live performances at American Blues Theater.

A powerhouse performance by the actors that feels like a high end Broadway production. The theater is intimate and the staff is very friendly. The price for tickets is very reasonable and well worth it. We saw "Misery" while we were in town, Wandachristine and Steve Key had such a chemistry on stage that the show felt more visceral and intense than the movie did. The actors were fantastic and we're definitely coming back to see a show here our next time in Chicago.

The Madison Hemings play was soooooo good. I’ve never been to a play where it made me cry a few times. I just started getting into plays and the actors in this show sealed the deal. Very touching story line and veryyy realistic theme!!! It was only two actors in this play and the scene really didn’t change and that’s what made it so amazing. They didn’t need much to really touch us with some deep points about black history. I will definitely be going here again!!!
