The idea of this place is decent. I was excited to see there was one here because I’ve been to one in Quebec City and it was amazing. The whole idea of these spas are to relax but there’s only one “quiet” area and it’s by the barrel hot tubs. People were extremely loud everywhere. All of the pools had a lot of debris from trees and dirt in them. The temperatures in the hot pools isn’t go above 104F which was okay but it was a little cold in the relaxation pool at 10F cooler.

The nice thing was that the barrel hot tubs were surrounded by trees. Quite a few pools/tubs/saunas are down for maintenance so that was also a bummer. I don’t think the price is worth it for the amount of negatives. We left after an hour and a half.

I usually use reviews for my travel decisions so thought it important to review Alyeska Spa after we almost didn't go.. It was wonderful! Like an adult Disney World of relaxation. The environment was so relaxing- clean locker rooms with ample space- hair dryers, flat irons, curling irons. Robes and towels. Lotions and other products. All the amenities were open and we enjoyed them all!!! Don't forget reusable non glass drinking vessel. You do need to hydrate! Go early and spend the day!!

I’ve had more therapeutic showers. They advertised having whole place open a day before our appointment but between our booking and arriving they decided to move the opening back past our visit. There was no mention of this when we checked in. The hottest pool was 104, perfect for grandma. Luckily I was at least able to have a hot shower in the locker room. It’s the “corporate spa” experience.

Went today and it was quite enjoyable. Few things though… parking is weird and wasn’t easy to find as signage wasn’t abundant. After an unsure turn, I luckily pulled up to the Nordic spa entrance, but no parking. Turned around, went to a random lot which had dedicated spa parking. Apparently, there’s a shuttle, but I didn’t see it and it had snowed heavily, so a shuttle would’ve been nice instead of walking a quarter mile to the spa entrance. The lot wasn’t plowed when I arrived or left, so I was up to my shins in snow in slip-on shoes. I would’ve worn high-top boots, but figured it wouldn’t be necessary, as it’s a high-end spa. It’s kind of odd that you’re supposed to leave relaxed, but then have to walk a good bit through snow. They send an email prior to your reservation of what to expect; parking could’ve been included.

Food is ridiculously priced for what it is, eat before or after the spa. Had the bone broth soup, which was a decent portion, but it wasn’t anything special.

The spa itself is really nice and the snow was a really nice touch whilst in the spa. This is a great spot for couples/dates.

Today was our first visit to Aasgaard Spa, and it definitely won’t be our last! We spent a few relaxing hours enjoying the variety of saunas, hot tubs, and pools. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, making it easy to unwind and let go of stress.

Wouldn’t recommend. The parking situation is very confusing there are no clear signs indicating where to go. For the price, only allowing a single entry is unreasonable. The front desk staff could also benefit from improved customer service skills. If you’re limiting guests to one entry, complimentary snacks should be provided, especially considering the dehydrating effects of the sauna and hot tub. Guests may end up feeling lightheaded or unwell without nourishment. Additionally, the restaurant is quite expensive, which feels excessive given that the spa entry alone is already close to $200.

When it's not crowded: amazing intimate and relaxing experience, you leave feeling amazing!!! The soaps and salt scrubs are wonderful

When it's crowded: don't even waste your time, it's not good at all, quite gross actually.

I recommend you call ahead and ask if any facility is broken, sometimes the pools and saunas break.

Overall worth it in my opinion!

Beautiful setting and facilities! No phones allowed outside the locker rooms. I suggest going early as it got busy after 1 pm. We stayed for 5 hours soaking in the different hot tubs, detoxifying in steam rooms and saunas and exfoliating in the Exfoliation cabin. We ate in the Bistro which was very good despite small menu. Finally we ended the day with an awesome Nordic couples 60 minute massage. It rained the whole day and made for a magical experience so don't let that deter you. Would definitely return maybe when it snows! Thanks Alyeska!
