Alpine Inn & Suites - Daly City, California

We stayed for three night in the Alpine Inn & Suites.

When checking inn we talked to one of the two receptionists (the older one) who was a bit hard to understand. He then gave us the key for the room which had a rather small queen size bed for two persons (which is not the hotel's fault).

We quickly asked to upgrade our room so that we get two beds. The younger receptionist took over and gave us a bigger room for the next two days - that was really nice of him although, of course, we had to pay 80$ more for both nights together.

We then had two rooms with one bed each which wasn't too bad. Both rooms were very warm and only one of them, the bigger one, had an air-conditioning that didn't really work.

The bathroom was alright but the water didn't drain too well in the sink as well as in the shower.

When we checked out it was not at all a problem to leave our luggage in the hotel so we could come and get it after finishing our daily activities in San Francisco.

Parking costs 10$ per day which is okay. So the first day they deducted 80$ (parking+ 50$ deposit). After leaving we only got back 30$ deposit and we have no idea what happened that they didn't give us back the full 50$.

The hotel is located in Daly City, not in San Francisco, so if you want to visit the city, you have to plan some time to get there. Good thing was that it always felt safe there.

Location was convenient for the event we were attending at cow palace.
Room was definitely affordable, but the pictures are massively inaccurate. The parking was a nightmare. Verrrry tight parallel parking spots. Room was small and kind of gross to be honest. Even the shower had me wishing that I brought shower shoes. Toilet barely flushes, wall heater barely works, walls were VERY thin... you can hear everything going on in the room next door.
I'll have to come back and add pictures later but I am definitely disappointed in the room here. I was expecting better quality.
I guess you get what you pay for, cheap isn't always good.
Not sure about the service as my husband was the one to check us in.

Booked a room online last minute. my check in wasn't till 4 i was stuck at 2 am so I figured i'd go in and see if i could go in early, though i wasnt demanding. despite them having availability (online) they said i couldnt get a room tonight even if i paid again. The man was super rude to not only me but my sister when she tried as well. Will not be back and will not be recommending it, now im out $100. This could be you.

I’ve stayed here many times and each and every time has been pleasant. The manager here is amazing! He’s always been extremely kind and professional. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable. There is a $10 parking fee but you are able to park right in front of your room which is great.

I work the Cow Palace for multiple events. The rates and location are perfect.Staff is friendly and helpful when need be, otherwise, you won't really see them. This is the only place I stay when I come down here.

Some people have left bad reviews but that was not my experience. Checking in and out was fairly easy. The room is not luxury but it was clean, no dirt or mold at all. Everything worked. The bed was comfortable and had new sheets. Quite location, good value. Great for Cow Palace.

The room was clean, refrigerator leaked,
The phone didn't work.
We had to pay for parking, which was not in the booking information.
The price was double what the booking online price was, with no explanation. We paid it. We arrived at 9pm. We felt like there was no other option at that point! Shiesty!
It's not a place I'd book again! Not at the price we paid!
