Massage was great! 5 stars for the therapist. The building is old and lacks updates. There is an odd smell inside that reminds me of an old dusty house. The wood panel walls have dust and cobwebs. Again, great massage just hard to relax in that environment.

I love going to Almonte when the world is just too much, and Olga is my absolute favorite. She is an amazing masseuse, and also will clear any difficult energies you may be carrying with her touch, and work with you energetically if you are attuned to that stuff. When I feel overwhelmed by life, she is my remedy. I also love relaxing in the hot tub for half an hour before my massage - Almonte has a great old-school vibe.

What a hidden gem at such an affordable price! We reserved a hot tub for 30 minutes for $30/per person. It’s situated in a small house along the side of the road. It’s an older spa but the hot tub is worth it alone. There are two tubs - the moon and the sun. We got the sun but would request the moon the next time. Bring your own towels so you don’t have to rent theirs. No frills, all soaks!

The massage was great. My husband and I did a little spa day with a 90 min couples massage and Mary and Chris were both fantastic.
We also did 60 min hot tub which was nice. 30 min probably would have been enough.

The reason for my lower score were the facilities. There aren’t proper locker rooms just a couple stalls with curtains and when I needed change and retrieve my things, someone else had left there items in the stall while they appeared to be showering. Just awkward. There also isn’t a waiting area large enough to accommodate us as a couple or a few guests at a time, just one chair near the two dressing rooms. Made it a bit uncomfortable while multiple guest were wrapping up or starting their services.

Lastly, probably the biggest disappointment were the showers and restroom. Clearly the building used to be a private residence at one point so the only interior shower also the only toilet and it is simply like your bathroom at home. They also have one outdoor shower. But besides the space and it not feeling like a spa it wasn’t well maintained. The shower grout was discolored, there was hair, a yellowed rubber mat at the bottom of the shower, etc. just not inviting. When I pay $500 for a spa day I had hoped for something luxurious and it felt very much pieced together.
While the massages were excellent, I don’t see myself going back.

This is a clean, calm, friendly place. We booked a hot tub for a post hike soak after the Dipsea trail. Incredibly relaxing - highly recommend. 💯

We called 3 hours before to see if we could just walk in and they said they had space but then when we get there they say it’s full… after my spouse and I drive and hour to check out this place… nice people but that was unpleasant to experience

Peaceful, relaxing and altogether wonderful experience. Everything went so smoothly: getting an appointment last minute, their communication, and the actual massage itself. I so enjoyed the outdoor cabana (I went in the evening so the air was cool and there was no traffic). Gabriella was masterful and thorough - she found knots where I had not expected them - working them out and checking in regularly about how the pressure was and how I felt after a particularly gnarly knot was worked. I left feeling very taken care of and totally relaxed. Cannot recommend highly enough, and hope to visit again next time I'm in town. Thank you!

I enjoyed my visit so much! Spa, sauna and massage (with Teri, MAGIC hands) were excellent and the facility is beautifully kept. 10/10 experience!
