I was recently apart of the local Coffee Crawl here and have the chance to try new coffee houses around the Greater Rockford area! As this unique establishment is it was a nice change of pace. Rustic wood and charming decor the inside was beautiful! The desserts that they offer looked incredible! I was able to try the White Chocolate Mocha iced latte and as good as it was I did feel like the flavor packed a big flavor punch in the first sips of the coffee and was more tolerant towards the end of the sip. I berry much enjoyed everything they had to offer but I’d probably try a different coffee! But would definitely have again!

Very cute inside with really nice staff! I really wanted to come here when I saw they had Dubai strawberry cups! My Dubai strawberry cup was so delicious and had amazing flavor and texture. My boyfriend had an iced Almoka latte and a caramel milk cake. Those were so good too! I can’t wait to come back and try the crepes next time.

Was so excited to come here once it opened and was not disappointed! We ordered the crepes and baklava cheesecake which were so delicious. All their pastries looked amazing and they have a variety of coffee drinks. The owner, Hussain, delivered our drinks to the table and was very friendly; you could tell he was very passionate about his business. We will definitely be returning!!

This isn’t just a café—it’s a whole cultural experience! The most authentic and charming coffee house I’ve ever been to. Where do I start? The taste of the coffee stimulates all your senses, the crepes are beyond delicious (I inhaled mine within 2 and a half minutes), and the atmosphere and décor transport you to another dimension. I’ll definitely be back—probably more times than I should! lol

Stopped by because I heard they had delicious desserts. I was not disappointed. The young lady at the register was very nice and helped give me suggestions since I have never tried anything they had. I got the Dubai cheesecake and the baklava cake which were amazing. I will definitely be back.

We tried Almoka for the first time tonight(April 12, 2025). Wonderful little café, quick service even though it was quite busy. I tried the Almoka signature latte and was very pleased. The taste of coffee, milk and spices was very balanced! My husband got the pistachio latte and that was also very good! He loves it. We unfortunately had already just eaten dinner so we didn't try any food items.
The only surprises we had was there were not any options for milk substitutes, so I thought. I asked if they had soy with a response of, "no." I wish i would have been offered their other options they had. I probably could have looked closer at the menu as well. (Not wanting to hold up the line😬) The drinks were extremely hot. I love an extra hot coffee but please use caution if you are hoping to taste any of their baked goods or anything later. 😆 We do love the window bar for people who wish to study or do work. It is equipped with multiple outlets as well. Their hours also allow for later evening purchases. I love a cup of coffee after dinner to keep the food coma at bay. 🤪
We spoke to a couple of ladies sitting next to us that ordered the chai and they were also impressed. We are definitely coming back to try more! What have you tried here?

The place is very cute and clean ! Service was fast as well. I was disappointed in the strawberries though. Had high hopes when I’ve tried them at another location they were made fresh . The strawberries tasted a little mushy like they had been sitting for a while . And the chocolate was so hard it broke my fork .

Stopped in today for a drink while I took a meeting and the order did not disappoint! My husband got a Carmel Macchiato and I got the Pistachio Affogato with an extra shot of espresso. Both tasted amazing and the espresso was very smooth. I’d highly recommend coming to support this new local coffee house — amazing atmosphere and even better coffee!
