Great coffee, they really care about their craft. Great atmosphere, especially when you need a spot to get some work done, relax or to meet new people. They have the coolest staff—they don’t try hard to converse with you. They’re genuinely nice and know how to converse organically. I’ve visited some cool coffee houses throughout California and NYC, and no joke this is my favorite spot! <3

How lovely this place is! I am visiting from out of town and a precious friend recommended Alchemist as her neighborhood fave! It did not disappoint. The lattes are lovely (I had a hot breve latte and then an iced ‘Mac Attack’, their Drink of the Month) and so is their food. I had an Avocado Toast with hardboiled egg. They also have ice cold lemon water ready for your hydrating needs. Thanks for the warm welcome and an adorable place to work for the day, Alchemist! You’re a local gem.

I drove 20 minutes to get here. Good but not amazing coffee. There are definitely better roasters nearby. The small coffee is Hobit sized. Smaller than my hand and priced the same as better roasters with larger portions. Even Starbucks has the edge here. Disappointed.

Incredible coffee shop in a cute area of Fresno! I had never been to the area but pulled off here on my way from Sequoia to Yosemite. I had the chai latte with oat milk and let me tell you.. best chai I have had outside of India. Truly amazing! It was a recommendation from the staff and I’m so glad I got it! Highly recommend! They also make a pumpkin version that is said to be great. Highly recommend a stop here. It was also lovely to sit at the tables on the sidewalk outside. It is very well decorated and they sell cute bespoke products. Will be back if I am Ever here again!

We stopped by on a Sunday early afternoon (3pm close). My wife ordered a cappuccino, which she liked. The barista was efficient, but not friendly and welcoming. Bordering on sullen, even. The Americano I ordered was rather dilute and tasteless, with an unwelcome bitter kick at the end. The table had residual crumbs that stuck to anything placed on it.
A third shot of espresso (no additional charge) improved the Americano, but I think I'll stick with the cafe across from Fresno High School, more cups of Joy to be found there.

Alchemist Coffee Lab is an absolute gem. A diamond in the rough. An Oasis in the desert that is Starbucks country. We make it a point to stop in whenever we are visiting from LA.

The coffee here is excellent, on par with our favorites at home. They source their beans directly from farmers in various parts of the world. They roast in house. The baristas know what they’re doing. You can feel that they are cultivating an inclusive community.

The vibes are strong here. I hope Fresno appreciates what they have. 💪🏼❤️☕️

Absolutely the best coffee in Fresno!! Lovely selection of pastries from local bakers and many savory options as well. But that’s only half the story here! The owner and each of the employees are so knowledgeable about the coffees and each of them so kind and attentive! Genuinely good humans serving genuinely good product! Such a peaceful haven in the Tower!
