I had the pleasure of staying at the Alaska Gold Creek Lodge, Where my associates and I experience a tremendous amount of satisfaction with the lodge, and the staff members. Chef Shane and his team absolutely went above and beyond my expectations on the quality and the presentation of the food. Let me also add the rooms we stayed was top notch service and overall an ultra beautiful place and very immaculate; I would like to say thank you to the housing keeping staff members Ms. Marianne and Olean, Kate; and their team . My party and I arrived on time, were seated immediately, greeted by our servers Kora in less than 2 minutes and this restaurant did everything you would expect at a full on 5 star restaurant. Wine list was extensive, and Elise did a great job serving our wine. The two woman very knowledge and very polite with great etiquette. We had the chance to do some activities and the adventures very much memorable. Madison, Wyatt both of them is great with showing us around the property and being informative of the history from fishing to native lands and the entire area. I have noticed the lodge was going through some improvements such as their front door into the main lodge and the Engineering department ,as well as Carpenters Jeremy , Ben, Wesley ,saw how professional and productive they all have been while doing improvements to the lodge such details with the precision of craftmanship. Lastly i will like to say thank you to Evan and his associate Zionna , with the shuttle service the good humor and very intellectual. The experience over all was such an adventure I can not wait for next season to arrive.

We chose to highlight the end of our third return trip to Alaska with a week stay at the Gold Creek Lodge. At the beginning of our July visit we were in Halo Bay amongst the grizzly bear moms and cubs and several adult male bears. We flew in and out of Anchorage and even made a return trip to Seward. Each of these experiences was exceptional!||The owners and staff at Gold Creek Lodge were all wonderful people. They were very friendly, interesting, totally interested in providing us with exceptional private guided adventures and when we were at the lodge, they ensured that we were served amazing meals, deserts and beverages. We chose to stay in one of the large and very comfortable Yurts. This added to our feeling of being in the remote wilderness of Alaska.||We will take the risk of forgetting to mention one or more of the amazing staff of the Gold Creek Lodge. We believe by thanking them it will give future guests a small insight into how very personal is a stay at Gold Creek Lodge. We were met at the airport by Jake who drove us to the lodge. Then Justin showed us around the lodge and to our Yurt and other facilities of the resort. Cora and Kate were our primary connections with the dining room staff for breakfast and dinner. Jim the chef made amazing meals! We were provided with great lunches when we were away from the lodge on our daily adventures and we always had more food than we could consume. Zane ensures that the bar is a friendly and welcoming “welcome home” environment with an exceptional happy hour. He is a great personality!||We began our visit with a river cruise with Wyatt. We also met Elyse and Kay.||Kat represented the ownership group and met with us each evening to help us plan our daily adventures. We were able to make adjustments that took advantage of changing weather conditions and lots of possible activities. We were really really lucky to fly by float plane and did a river walk with our experienced and amazing guide Blaine. Photos from the platforms are featured in commercial magazines. The experience of being in the river below the Brooks Falls while the bears are fishing for salmon is truly unique and amazing. The rain limited the number of visitors at the falls and in the river on our first visit. The number of bears was greater than we could count or remember. ||We made a return visit to the falls and the river and again our guide Blaine provided us with an exceptional experience. We were able to be on the lower platform during the very busy waiting period for the upper platform and then returned to the river. One of the highlights was being able to observe a mom with two cubs as she taught them how to climb a tree on the river bank. ||We were able to actually ride in one of the amphibious SHERP four-wheel drive vehicles and get out into the back country where beavers have made huge dams and ponds. Stephen was our experienced and engaging driver guide as we explored remote roads and trails. And again, we enjoyed an exceptional lunch in the wilderness!!!!||On our final full day Kat and Blaine arranged for us to fly by float plane to Hammersley Lake and the American Creek. Flying over the majestic and wild valleys, rivers and mountains of remote Alaska was truly magical. And then when we landed on the lake and our pilot promised to return at 4 PM we found ourselves to be the only humans in this wonderful region. Anyone who loves the wild should embrace the opportunity to have this experience!||We have many many new places to visit in the remote regions of our world. Alaska always provides us with exceptional experiences and the people we meet are always amazing. We shall return to Gold Creek Lodge! 12 out of 10 stars!

Welcoming lodge with very comfortable rooms, very good food, and an inviting common dining/gathering area and bar yurt. We would highly recommend this lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there three nights as part of a Natural Habitat Adventures bear tour.

I can't say enough about Alaska's Gold Creek Lodge. This place is exemplary. Most camps and lodges are designed around Alaska's famous fishing--with spartan accommodations. NOT Alaska's Gold Creek Lodge! Alaska's Gold Creek Lodge is a higher end family-oriented multifunction vacation destination. Luxury cabin accommodations with full indoor plumbing, daily housekeeping, a beautiful lodge, gourmet quality food, and many varied adventures besides fishing are offered. Daily guided adventures are usually staffed 2 guests to 1 guide.

The level of employee customer service cannot be overstated. The lodge staff including Amber, Elise, Nora and others is ready to fulfill your every want and need at the drop of a hat. This level of service was amply demonstrated when we experienced a medical emergency on the last morning of our trip. After requesting Amber summon an ambulance, events proceeded with remarkable efficiency and speed. Within seconds the lodge's medical responders arrived at our cabin. More importantly the lodge owners, Kat and Mike, came to offer compassion, care, encouragement, and to provide anything needed. We were eventually transferred by air ambulance to Anchorage for further care. The lodge staff packed up all our belongings (we were supposed to check out that morning). Mike (the lodge owner!) stayed with us at the clinic in Naknek, then at the airport in King Salmon and then made sure our luggage was loaded onto the air ambulance with us.

We were treated like royalty and can’t speak highly enough about Alaska's Gold Creek Lodge, the owners, and the staff.

We booked a stay here in conjunction with a 3 week trip to see National Parks and staying here gave us access to Katmai and the bears at Brooks Falls. This “resort” is very vertically integrated (own shuttles, water taxi and resort). Our cabin was well furnished and comfortable, gave easy access to beautiful main lodge. The staff employees (guides and waitstaff) were very friendly and efficient. The reasons I would not give 5 stars are as follows—1: although the food was excellent you really didn’t know (except for breakfast) what was on the menu and if there was a problem you were out of luck usually 2: this is not an inexpensive place to stay and 1/2 of the owner/management team had no social skills and perhaps since the business is for sale really didn’t care if the guests were treated with respect. We won’t be back or recommend this business to our friends.

Absolutely loved our stay at Alaska Gold Creek Lodge! The Lodge has absolutely everything you need and cabin was great!! The owners and all of the staff were fantastic and such joy to talk too. Kat's coordination of the guests and their activities is nothing short of amazing. She was able to switch up activities when guests changed their minds about what they would like to do the next day. Bear viewing and the River Walk (recommended by Kat) at Brooks Falls was the most amazing experience. We definitely would come back again!!!!!!! Thank you all at Alaska's Gold Creek Lodge for such a memorable experience.

Gold Creek Lodge was an unforgettable experience! The owner Kat, goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are comfortable. Fishing was really fun and we loved the sea plane ride and the bear tour at Katmai National Park.

Food and interior design of the space was excellent as well. I had a job interview yesterday which was near impossible to work because of the lack of reception. My phone lost reception midway through my call and she lend me her cell.

I would 100% come back again. Definitely stay here if you want the true Alaskan experience!

From the owners (Kat will take care of you 100%), to the tremendous staff and guides (special shout-out to Harding and Avery), the fun and unique accommodations, location, and awesome excursion options, book your Alaska vacation here if you want to be well taken care of and experience a lot of what Alaska has to offer. Truly just a wonderful place to stay and we had the trip of a lifetime. The people and their experience and knowledge and overall pleasantness make this lodge an elite choice and you will be well-fed with stupendous meals at the lodge too!
