This was our second year staying with friends, and we will be back again. Such a beautiful and unique resort with everything you could possibly need. No detail goes unnoticed. It's a big lodge with a lot of space, yet they've managed to make it cozy with all the personal touches. The location and views are breathtaking. One of a kind, home away from home. I highly recommend.

This is the third time I have stayed here. It is always a great experience. The rooms are unique. Everything is furnished uniquely. The refrigerators are well stocked. The kitchen is well stocked and very spacious. They have jacuzzi tubs, sauna and a hot tub||

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Hospitality:

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful place for two days and had an amazing experience. The owner is incredibly nice and generous. Despite our late arrival at Anchorage Airport around midnight, and the subsequent hour-long drive to the location, he was available at 2 am to guide us through. The house is well-equipped and impeccably clean. We would love to stay at this place again. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful retreat. We stayed in the Mountain View Suite which lived up to its name with a private deck that provided panoramic views of the mountains, as well as a luxurious bathroom suite with a jet soaking tub. Every detail of the construction and woodworking in the cabin were exceptional, you rarely see such an authentic log cabin with modern amenities. Thanks for a true getaway!

This lodge is tops! It is located in a beautiful wooded area with a gorgeous mountain view, yet feels far from "civilization" though it is actually close to stores and such. The lodge itself is amazing inside and out. The rooms are lovely and are very thoughtfully equipped with "everything a person could need", 😊 presented in a high class manner. I am extremely impressed with the cleanliness and excellence of it all. It seems so versatile for many types of groups and occasions. I couldn't rate it higher than 5 or I would!

We had our family reunion at Knotty Pine, and it was a wonderful experience. We loved hanging out in the rec room and living area, and enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen. We stayed in Roper’s Retreat and were very happy with our bedroom and huge bath. Everything was so clean and tasteful. We would highly recommend Knotty Pine B and B to anyone looking for a lovely and peaceful getaway.

We had a magical experience staying at the Knotty Pine. The structure itself, is one that leaves you in awe. The set up is perfect. Anything you need for a stay away is at your finger tips. They go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of with amenities. There's a hot tub, sauna option, the breakfast options, you wont go hungry...the cozy views, nestled in the woods made our Christmas get away over the top. Be sure to check out the history on how this magical getaway in the woods came to be. The love, hard work and attention to detail make this a one of a kind...an authentic Alaskan experience. We stayed at about 5 different hotels during our time in Alaska, one being the Alyeska Resort, and this was BY FAR our favorite. I cannot begin to describe how welcoming and beautiful this place is. The mountain view suite was amazing--the room was big but also cozy and the balcony was to die for (and I can imagine it would be even better in the summer). The thought that went into the whole experience is outstanding; the kitchen is fully stocked for breakfast, and the breakfast sandwich that I made there remained our favorite breakfast of the trip. We were truly sad that we were only staying one night. My one suggestion: provide eye masks for the summer months in mountain view suite, as the top windows didn't have blinds (though we were tired enough after our flight from Chicago that we slept well anyway).
