A seemingly random burger joint on the side of the road that serves quick and delicious meals. Most people order ahead for takeaway. There are outdoor venues with views of the water but you're exposed to the elements. Food was really good. We had the halibut fish and chips for roughly $30 - comes with 5 pieces and fries.

This is formerly Rose's Caboose and is now AJ's Gourmet Burgers. Instead of a caboose it's now an orange shipping container. It's about a 10 minute drive north of downtown Ketchikan. If you are on a cruise, you could take a cab or try using the city bus for $2. They have both surf and turf options and has the cheapest bacon cheeseburger in town. You can eat along the water front at a picnic table or they'll bring it to your car.

My daughter is working for Tongass Trading this summer and was excited to bring me here. It definitely looks like a local favorite. While waiting for our food we see lots of people who have apparently ordered ahead and have their food delivered to their car window.

This place was a total surprise! AJ's is a little food trailer on the side of the road in Ketchikan. The location was awesome because it looks out over the water. But that's not the best part! Their burgers are amazing! Not what I was expecting from a food trailer. They were super juicy and all the toppings were fresh. The fried mushrooms were delicious as well. I also got the clam chowder which was very tasty. The staff was super friendly as well.

Family owned! Great people & service. The food is cooked by order so it’s fresh every time. Most definitely a go to burger spot! Homemade sauces! I love everything about this place.

Aw yeah! First and foremost, amazing food with great portions for a fair price! As an out of towner, hours in Ketchikan are awful and unreliable. BUT NOT HERE! AJ’s has convenient hours and fantastic 🍔burgers, milkshakes are just as good. No indoor seating like the pictures show though but there are picnic tables outside you can use.

Best burger in town hands down. Juices, great tasting, huge, just awesome. Burgers are my favorite and theirs are great. Fries were very good and a large is really a large!
