As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen my fair share of hotel rooms used for getting ready, and most leave much to be desired. However, the AC Hotel Pleasanton was a standout! The room my client used for her bridal prep was absolutely gorgeous, with clean, modern decor and thoughtful touches—like a cover over the HVAC unit—that made the atmosphere so much more elegant for photos.

What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate us by allowing a brief use of one of the meeting rooms for the bride’s first look with her father. This created such a memorable, intimate moment for the family and added a unique touch to their day.

If you’re considering a hotel for wedding preparations or other special moments, I can’t recommend AC Hotel Pleasanton enough. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist made all the difference!

Fairly new hotel. Modern, more high end amenities. Very clean. Attentive service. Lots of free parking. WiFi decent but capped at 10mb. Close to mall. Nice sized room. Lots of outlets above desk and center table between beds.

I’ve stayed at a lot places before for business and with my family this time this place did not disappoint. The staffs from the beginning to end were amazing. Jackie in the bar and breakfast area was a phenomenal service to my wife and kids. I will come back again for business and family travels. I wish I got all the staffs name but the young blonde hair lady that evening was so nice to us and the gentleman with the cool long hair in the morning was really pleasant as well. The server at the breakfast buffet was great. When i walked into room 216, the 1st thing i saw was a noise canceling machine next to the bed and thought that it must not be a good sign. Fre seconds later, the 1st truck passed by my window, which was right on the highway. It was extremely noisy all night, and i was not able to fall asleep. I was only staying one night for a business trip and could not focus in my meeting the next day. There must be a way to reduce the moise from the highway with new windows or special soundproof walls.

Stayed here over the weekend for the 2nd time, so I wanted to share a few details...

1) I asked for a late checkout and the person behind the desk said that others requested a late checkout and may not be possible. After she put my room number, she realized I was a Titanium Member and said it was not a problem. Please check the status before denying a guest.

2) The bar was open but was told that they are short staffed so there was no food available. I understand about being short staffed but don't sell a weekend package advertising food availability at the hotel and not providing the service.

3) As previously mentioned, we stayed here before and had an amazing breakfast. Not so much this time. Very basic food with no AL A Carte options because they are short staffed. Additionally, there were ants and bugs on the food (see picture), so although we paid for the additional breakfast, we opted to eat elsewhere.

Overall the rooms are nice and the staff are kind. Don't sell a package and not provide the service that one would expect.
