We had a wonderful stay at A Taste of Alaska lodge! We were there for six nights and each morning, we were served different breakfast items. There was oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, egg casseroles, pancakes, french toast, pastries, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs and the best berries that I don't recall the name of!|The decor is an eclectic collection of everything and it was interesting to look around. There are refrigerators on each floor for visitors to use. No outside shoes allowed indoors and they provide slippers if you need them. The rooms are clean and spacious. |The Aurora viewing area is an easy walk from each room. We were blessed with 4 nights of beautiful Aurora lights!! There is a warming hut there with comfy sofas and snow shoes for hiking in the fresh snow.|Lastly, the staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you!! Debbie had us laughing so much; please don't even think of retiring!

We had a great time at A Taste of Alaska Lodge. We had rooms in the main lodge and couldn't stop looking at all the memorabilia that was everywhere! All super interesting. The rooms were super clean and the breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed talking with everyone--tons of local knowledge. If we're ever back in Fairbanks, we'll book again! (The northern lights may be calling our name. 🙂 )

Best place to see the Aurora Borealis. Just got here yesterday and already had my dream come true. Kory is amazing. He made booking the lodge and the car seamless. Would definitely send all my friends here ❤️ and would totally return.

It's a fantastic place to stay outside of fairbanks. The owner and his family are very friendly, and we're great to work with while I was TDY with the Air Force. I felt like I was back home at my grandparent's house in appalachia.

We had an exceptional stay at the Taste of Alaska Lodge last week. We were part of a tour with Gondwana Eco Tours (highly recommended) and enjoyed a 6-night stay at the lodge. The lodge is family owned and you can tell they put their heart into the business. They also have a great sense of humor and are very knowledgeable. The viewing cabin and alarm system in the rooms for viewing the Northern Lights were perfect. We were there during an extreme cold snap in the -40s and we still enjoyed every bit of our trip.||We were fortunate enough to see the lights, but I would recommend this lodge even if seeing them is not important to you. Beautiful area for hiking, snow shoeing and just enjoying nature. I wish I could go back this summer.||The pics were taken from the viewing area directly behind the lodge.

Because this location is remote, it's great for seeing the Northern Lights. This B&B is a bit corky and decorated with vintage nick-knacks. We had a good nights sleep and the room was clean. We stayed at the Chalet above the garage, which we don't recommend for tall folks. It was a challenge for my 6' husband underneath the pitched roof/A-frame structure. The hostess and Kory are very hospitable, the wonderful breakfast offered plenty of choices, even for the most pickiest eaters. Excellent coffee!

We absolutely loved our stay at TOA!! Cory and Debbie are amazing hosts. We stayed in the Spruce hose it was perfect for my husband and I. It could accommodate several more guests. The spiral stairs are a bit steep so that i would leave for more agile folks in your group.
the grounds are amazing and the "night watch" cabin is perfect place to go to look for the lights! i would never hesitate to recommend TOA to anyone who is looking for a place to stay outside of Fairbanks.

Thanks Cory and Debbie!! was an amazing experience

PS. the wood puzzle is the most aggravating puzzle in the entire world but well worth it in the end!!

Stayed here with Gondwana Tours - what a blast. Thanks to Kory & Deb for a lovely experience. Our room was perfect for us and we loved being notified when there was an aurora spotted. Got some great pictures, used your lovely warm jackets and pants (had our own heavy boots). BRRR was it cold out there, but the warming hut was welcomed in between events. Thanks again!!
