What a great place to stay! We were there twice and enjoyed the cozy rooms and the lovely, helpful and friendly host Manfred. ||The B&B is located in the hills above Homer. The view to Homer Spit, Kachemak Bay, the mountains and glaciers is amazing and Homer and the Spit are very close. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and cozy. In the morning, Manfred makes a delicious and self-made breakfast. We also had great conversations with Manfred. ||Our stay was really gorgeous and we can highly recommend this B&B!

This B & B was absolutely amazing! The magnificent views of Kachemak Bay and the Homer Spit were wonderful, but the feeling of being in an Alaskan Lodge when in this beautiful home was incredible. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the time with our gracious host, Manfred, and viewing his gardens was a joy! His breakfasts were DELICIOUS! This was definitely a highlight during our "bucket list" Alaska Wildlife Tour!||||Don't miss the opportunity to stay at A Room with a View B & B!!!

With a stunning view of the Kachemak Bay and abundant gardens surrounding the property, we felt lucky to find this lovely home. Our room on ground floor was very comfortable and made maneuvering luggage easy. It was also very clean with a private bath. Manfred was a helpful travel advisor and an excellent cook. Breakfast was a real treat, hearty and delicious. Our stay with Manfred in Homer was too short, but now we know where we'll stay next time we are in town. We highly recommend A Room With a View.

We spent two nights here. 2 bedrooms available, sitting area, mini fridge, and a bathroom/shower. Manfred served us 2 delicious breakfasts upstairs where we had a great view of the spit! His property is gated because of moose. I would stay again!

This an impeccably clean, perfectly placed bed and breakfast. The grounds are beautiful...obviously tended by a host who loves to garden. The view is spectacular! The true gem is the host, Manfred. He was welcoming when we arrived and helped us prioritize what to see in charming Homer. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect send off for the day. We left wishing we had more time and hoping to return.

We spent 5 wonderful nights at this B & B. There are only 2 bedrooms so the 3 of us had the common area to ourselves. The views are gorgeous. Manfred is not only a terrific host, he is also a great chef, full of suggestions of things to do in the area & maintains beautiful flower gardens. Cannot forget to mention all is spic & span!! I promise you will enjoy your stay.
