My wife and I stayed in the studio at The Channel View for the last week while experiencing Kodiak.|Ron and Mary were great hosts, and shared with us a lot of insights and tips on the island.|The room is exactly as shown in the photos.|Great views of the bay.|We loved it.

Just stayed at the Channel View B&B, and can't overstate how highly we would recommend it! The studio suite was perfect for us (a couple), and provided the ideal home base for our Kodiak adventures. Mary and Ron are so knowledgeable about Kodiak and enthusiastically provided expert recommendations, both before we arrived, and while we were on-site, that made our trip the most memorable experience. Spending time with them during the welcome breakfast (so delicious!) was truly a pleasure. The room was stocked with breakfast treats and the B&B is also very conveniently located to downtown Kodiak, making local restaurants and cafes walkable. Channel View is delightfully cozy and comfortable and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

A Channel View is absolutely one of the best BnB’s on Kodiak Island. Magnificent views, comfort with all the amenities, and ideally located close to town. Ron & Mary, retired teachers, are friendly and well-versed on everything Kodiak. It was a pleasure staying there.

My sister and I stayed at A Channel View B&B last year and absolutely loved the 1-bedroom apartment. When my partner and I decided to return this year, I never considered another place to call home for the week.

The apartment truly is perfect. Super comfortable bed, great kitchen, and wonderful view. The kitchen is stocked with great breakfast fixings and the coffee is fabulous.

Mary and Ron are terrific hosts. Their knowledge of Kodiak is generations in the making. I suggest getting recommendations from them prior to and during your visit regarding what you're interested in doing and seeing. That said, we love our aloneness when we're on vacation; Mary and Ron are also very cool about giving people the space they desire.

Thanks so much for another fabulous stay. A Channel View B&B will continue to be among our favorites ... and we look forward to returning soon for another memorable visit to magical Kodiak Island.

Mary and Ron offer the perfect Kodiak retreat! Our accommodations were absolutely welcoming, and, they were so helpful with things to see and do on the island, having a wealth of knowledge about Kodiak Island, itself. Their passion for the uniqueness of Kodiak is palpable. They provided us with a lovely welcome breakfast, and, everything we needed for a comfortable stay was available in our suite. Amazing! It is as though they designed the inn with me in mind - convenience, freshness, and, atmosphere was perfect. I never felt without anything. They thought of it all!!!! I highly recommend The Channelview Inn as your destination while in Kodiak. I felt as a welcomed visitor in a very warm home, privacy at a peak, and, always available when I might have a question about where to go, what to eat, where to see the best of Kodiak Island, and, quite a plethora of reading material about the area. Loved our stay. We would definitely go back.

My wife and I had a lovely stay last week at the Channel View Bed and Breakfast when we were in Kodiak for a family celebration. Their accommodations are exceptionally clean and well tended. Mary and Ron have created a “home away from home” with every amenity a traveler might need when out of town. For just one example, we took advantage of the two fluffy bathrobes hanging in the bathroom to make us cozy after a morning shower. The tranquil setting overlooking the channel to Near Island is beautiful. From the lovely breakfasts and comfy accommodations to the expert advice on what to do in Kodiak, they are wonderful hosts. This is our second stay at Channel View, and if you’re considering a trip to Kodiak we highly recommend it.

We stayed for 4 nights – peaceful, charming, all amenities needed for a wonderful vacation. Mary and Ron are the most hospitable couple – lovely and responsive. We got a most delicious breakfast – salmon quiche, salmon-cream cheese bagel, and fruits. The full kitchen was stocked with almost every other breakfast item you’d desire – muffins, bread, cereal, etc…and a Keurig coffee maker with all types of beverages! It’s the place to stay – convenient to the town – and a most pleasant view of the channel. Much mahalo (Thank you, very much), Mary and Ron for making our stay in Kodiak memorable!

Channel View B&B is one of the most comfortable B&B's we have ever stayed at. We felt like personal guests in Ron and Mary's home.....they were a delight both professionally and personally. The unit we stayed in was spotless, cozy without being cramped, and really comfortable. And if that isn't enough, they are both really good cooks. Whether you are a casual tourist or a business person, we highly recommend staying there while in Kodiak.
