Magician. Godsend. Healer.
I was experiencing excruciating pain in my lower back after driving from Oregon to Kelseyville to the point where I couldn’t walk upright or sit in a chair without assistance. Scotus was not only kind enough to see me on short notice, but was able to provide me with instant relief after one session. He was super kind and made me feel calm right from the jump. I really appreciated how he broke down proper body mechanics and gave me tips to avoid further injuries. I’ve had a lot of great bodywork done over the years and this one session with Scotus was by the far the best. Thank you so much!!

I cannot say enough about Scotus and Lotus Structural Integration… it has literally been life changing for me. I was looking for body work and massage, I had never heard of SI before, and I am so glad I accidentally found it. I’ve suffered from neck/shoulder pain and lower back pain since I was a teenager, and would experience spasms and debilitating pain every few months and need to go to my chiropractor and sometimes take medication, and since starting the series with Scotus I have not seen my chiropractor once. I have zero pain, zero tension.. my body feels lighter and exercise is much easier and more enjoyable. I am more flexible and even sleep better. I am actually shocked at the results, and so grateful. Not only did this series support my physical body, but also my emotional and spiritual healing, as much of our trauma is stored in our fascial system, but is hard to move out of those areas without this kind of support. I am 100% confident that this work expedited some serious inner work I was in the midst of, and has helped to regulate my nervous system as well. Anyone looking for a holistic approach to healing on all levels will benefit from working with Scotus. And perhaps most importantly, Scotus is such a kind soul and makes people feel so comfortable, understood, and supported, and really just felt like an old friend. He will tailor sessions to what his clients need, is so easy to talk to, and so good at what he does. I could go on and on about how healing this experience was for me, and I highly recommend his work to anyone needing this kind of support. We need more people like Scotus in the world.

Scotus is highly present, attuned, and sensitive in his approach to Structural Integration. As someone who has spent 20 years in the healing and yogic arts, these are vital qualities for me to feel in a practitioner who I choose to receive body care from. After my first session I felt like my whole body was walking freely, lightly, and with total integration; it was quite joyful! I am very much looking forward to going through the whole 10-series with Scotus.

Scotus is an exceptional rolfer/massage therapist. I would recommend him to any one looking for attentive and thorough body work. Scotus worked with me to figure out what My individual body needed and was very accommodating to my schedule. Even during deep work I felt relaxed and comfortable. This was the most effective body therapy I have ever had. I felt relief from pain related to sports injuries and tension and long term assistance in healing those injuries. I was not able to finish all 10 sessions circumstantially but would go back any time. Highly recommended!

Scotus is an incredibly kind and sensitive healer. I went to him for a follow-up 3 series to the first 10 series of Structural Integration work I received from another practitioner in Salt Lake City. The work Scotus did for me has decreased the pain I experience in my mid-back and hips and I feel more mindful of my posture. Scotus gave me simple exercises to do at home for increasing mobility and decreasing tension and pain, and so far they have been really effective. I would highly recommend Scotus at Lotus Structural Integration if you're seeking relief from pain or interested in Structural Integration/Rolfing.

My body immediately responded to Scotus's Rolfing treatments by releasing years of tension I didn't even know I was holding. I could feel how sitting in front of a computer, standing and walking wrong, sleeping funny, texting, and emotional stress had compacted my body into complicated overcompensations. I didn't know how much I was suffering because of these habits. Scotus helped me unwind all this, slowly and methodically. He is attentive and intuitive and knew exactly where my body needed structural realignment. Scotus is also very kind and easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.

At the time of writing I have received eight sessions from Scotus Dunshee. I have found the experience of receiving rolfing work from Scotus to be very excellent and useful in all respects. Scotus is a caring man, and his touch is benign and energetic. I have been rolfed in the past by other rolfers, and so it is with experience that I highly recommend Scotus. He has helped me a great deal in my posture, my energy, and bodily movement. If you are interested in rolfing, which I also recommend, then you cannot go wrong receiving rolfing work from Scotus. Highly recommended.
