Wonderful experience. Our oldest's wedding went off beautifully! We had great access to multiple buildings. All buildings were handicap accessible. Owner went above and beyond for us. Facilities were clean and upkept. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a unique venue.

This review is specifically for groups looking to rent this property out four events, specifically focusing on a Renaissance festival or medieval Fair.

An easy 5 stars. The staff are polite. The rules are clearly laid out ahead of time.

This site is located in an area with active farms nearby. Please do pay attention to the parking rules that the site gives you so that heavy farm equipment can continue moving up and down the road safely.

Highlights include a fighting pit with audience seating, a beautiful feast hall, a two-story castle front with a big gate, bathrooms with toilets that go whoosh. Plenty of room for vendors to set up and tent, a viking longhouse on the other side of the lake, a full kitchen and serving window.

Dalwhinnie fields is amazing. We go for EMP events, and it's just perfect. The groups are friendly, owners are kickass people, the grounds a clean and maintained. There are showers and real toilettes. If you have a LARP or reenactment group that needs a place to hold an event, I love this place.

Great event place for many functions. A great place for weddings! This a beautiful place with lots of land, beautiful trails and a large pond. Outdoor bathrooms/ showers make it easy to camp here or rent the bunk house. Medieval reenactments and groups come here often. This land can accommodate very large groups.

Dalwhinnie is absolutely amazing!!! My wife and I booked the entire place for our renaissance wedding and it was everything we could've asked for and more! When you're there it's like being in a game of dungeons and dragons. And there's so much to do! We spent a freezing December weekend hanging around warm fires, beautiful buildings, picturesque back drops, hilarious horses, and hand-crafted swords and armor.

40° was the warmest it got all weekend, but we were all having such a good time we didn't care. Lex's hospitality is really what made the whole thing go so smoothly. He was an amazing host. He saved the day when we couldn't find a place in town to eat breakfast the morning of the wedding, and jumped on any issue that came up. He had ideas and options for the wedding that we had never even considered, like riding in on a horse!

I couldn't think of a better way to spend some time with friends or family. The whole wedding party is talking about going back for some more axe throwing next year too!
