Great location and wonderful hosts! Esther and Jerry are warm and welcoming, and accommodations are well kept, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The breakfasts are unmatched, with assorted fresh fruits coupled with a hot breakfast entree each morning. Jerry offers great recommendations for vineyards, restaurants, and side excursions, and assists with restaurant reservations if needed. The location is convenient to Healdsburg dining, and to wineries throughout the Sonoma and Napa regions. A wonderful place to stay!

Jerry Messina the owner of this wonderful B&B, is the most gracious and charming proprietor of this lovely haven in Healdsburg California. He guided us to all the attractions of wine country with the kind of humor and dedication of someone who really loves the area and the people. Over 17 years he had evolved from an Innkeeper to a friend. All things come to an end and since you are moving on and closing the Villa, Linda and I have to say thank you for the best 17 years of our life and wish you a well earned rest. We love you Jerry. You have been a good friend. You will be missed by all.

Boy did we have fun! The place is beautiful, the views unparalleled, and Jerry and Esther were stellar hosts. We enjoyed gourmet breakfasts and a wonderful wine and cheese ritual daily. Best of all, Jerry has such a wealth of knowledge about the region, he was a wonderful guide, pointing us to many local gems. Because he is such a well known and loved member of the community, we were warmly welcomed at several wineries. We loved Esther was especially attentive and responsive, wanting to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We left feeling like family.

Such a nice place in every way. The hosts Esther and Jerry are so polite and thoughtful that the experience was definitely elevated to the next level. If you go be sure to get Healdsburg restaurant recommendations from either Esther or Jerry as they are the experts! Plus the 'Noble Folk' ice cream in town is incredible if you don't mind waiting in line. For us this stay was very therapeutic as well because we don't have pets but the two house doggies are there for you and they are very social and friendly.

WoW, what spectacular lodging in a stunning building, one truly feels as if you’re in a Tuscan villa. The guest rooms are spacious, well equipped with dream worthy mattresses and supreme linens. The breakfasts could easily be rated in the Michelin Guide…each morning a differently speciality’ is available.(no Costco muffins here). The host and owner, Jerry, makes everyone feel like family. If asked, he or Ester, will provide recommendations for visits to wineries, restaurants, etc. Our two day stay was simply not long enough. We did not want to leave. Than you Ester, Thank you Jerry for a memorable few days.

Let me start by saying that Jerry is an AMAZING human being. We had the time of our lives staying at Villa Bella Messina. Jerry is an amazing cook, and his breakfast spreads are absolutely to die for. The home and property are maintained beautifully with a lot of love and care.

You will leave more than satisfied post your stay at Villa Bella Messina. I can only offer you a recommendation by saying that Jerry and his Villa get a 12 out of 10 stars rating from me for everything on offer there. The sunrise experience is just out of the world.

Bella Villa Messina is our home away from home. Anytime we spend a weekend in wine country we stay there. The owner and manager are great people and treat you like family. They have lived in the area for almost 40 years and know a lot about the area, the people and wineries. We've been to many restaurants and wineries where once we mention the owner's name we recieve a big smile and great treatment. They also create the best breakfasts around.

We had the most amazing stay at Bella Villa Messina! Jerry is a wonderful host & cook and Esther helped us make all of our wine tour and dinner reservations. Jerry knowledge of the area is incredible and we felt like we were away at a home away from home! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend staying here to others.
