We hosted our daughter's wedding at Highlands Estate one month ago today! The views were amazing and the fall colors of the vineyards in yellows and oranges so stunning! All the photos of the couple turned out absolutely beautiful.
The planning of the wedding came together so quickly thanks to Whitney's helpful suggestions and recommendations for caterer , outside hotels and rehearsal dinner restaurants.

Our family stayed at the Estate main house including the bride, and maid of honor! The house is so well decorated and welcoming! We loved it!

The catering company (Sonoma County Catering) was a family staffed business and so friendly. Heather was the manager we dealt with and she really had to think outside the box for our vegan couple! But the food was delicious and I even heard a few people say that if this was the way vegans eat, they would eat it all the time!
So thankful we held the wedding at Highlands Estate!

I have the privilege of being a vendor at The Highlands Estate and have coordinated many weddings there and I can honestly say this is my absolute favorite venue! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with so many unique photo opportunities and the all-seasons barn is the perfect place for a great reception and dancing. The owners; Gard and Whitney, are a delight to work with. They are truly dedicated to giving each couple the most wonderful wedding day and I've never seen a couple not fall in love with them! They even take the time to come and watch each couple get married and have so much joy as they watch them exchange vows. If you are searching for a venue, you just found it!

BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER. The Bridal Suite and groom’s suite were absolutely perfect the day of for us to hang with our bridal parties (not every venue we looked at had this). The grounds are so so GORGEOUS. We didn’t have to do much decorating and we let the nature speak for itself. The vineyard and overall landscape was breathtaking, it felt so elegant. Our guests keep telling us it was the best wedding they’ve been to. I would highly recommend The Highlands Estate to anyone who is planning a wedding!! Gard & Whitney were so sweet and extremely helpful during the whole process (:

I LOVE The Highlands Estate - what an incredible place for a wedding. As a wedding DJ for over 15 years, I have worked at over 200 venues in the greater Wine Country and Bay Area. Highlands stands out in the top 1% of venues - seriously - because they are attentive to the details that ACTUALLY make a difference in creating a wedding that flows with ease. The grounds, the layout, the sound systems, the incredible Barn for dance parties. Perfect. I even worked a wedding once when PG&E cut the power to the area, and Highlands Estate has a massive generator that kicked on AUTOMATICALLY and the party continued without a hitch. Never have I seen such service. This is a place you know you will have everything taken care of and your wedding will be remarkable.

The Highlands Estate is such a spectacular venue at which to hold a wedding ceremony and reception or any type of event. The vistas from all parts of the property are spectacular due to the gentle slope of the landscape up from the main road below. With the parking area just inside the gates and the available shuttle to provide transport to the upper very private locations of the property, accessing all areas within the Highlands Estate seemed effortless. It was so easy to go from the ceremony location and walk just a few steps to the main terrace and barn for the reception and dinner. The sound system within the barn had incredible sound quality and all the guests had so much fun dancing the night away. Truly a memorable night from start to finish!

It would be really great if you are looking for a wine country wedding vibe. Lovely views, really nice facilities, accommodating hosts. Close to a whole host of great and fun activities, wine tasting, the beautiful and rustic Mendocino Coast. A true gem.
