Amazing BnB! The property has 3 rooms, and Mike and Fran are lovely hosts. Honestly felt like staying with a host family.

Breakfast was delicious (and quite filling) and the property / rooms were spacious and clean. The location was also superb - just minutes from all the apple farms / wineries around the area.

Mike built the house himself and you can definitely tell from the quality.

Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area

Steven and I were there this past weekend. (Sept 13th- 15th 2024) Fran and Mike warmly welcomed us. They are a very nice couple, made sure we did not lack for anything. The breakfast was beyond outstanding. The happy hour was delightful and fun. The cookies were the best I have ever had. Their property is gorgeous inside and out. We throughly enjoyed our visit and will be back again in the near future♥️

North Canyon Inn is a honeymooners paradise! We got married at a venue just a few minutes away and not only was the location convenient, but the Inn itself was so dreamy, intimate, and special. The rooms are clean and gorgeous with newly remodeled showers! The best part for my husband and I was waking up to the most delicious breakfast - an Apple Hill crumble and savory quiche - that hangover cure worked like a charm. Thank you again to Mike and Fran!

My husband, myself and our friends hit the jackpot when we reserved 2 nights at North Canyon Inn. Mike and Fran were absolutely delightful and added so much to our first time stay in Placerville. Mike went out of his way to make maps for us so we wouldn't get lost and they were both just so fun and interesting to talk to.|Each room is so cozy and beautifully decorated but now we are partial to the Bigleaf Maple Room...the pillows and bed were the ultimate, we slept like royalty.|The gourmet breakfasts were 5 star and such a great start to our days...gorgeous frittatas, scones, homemade apple sauce, really great coffee and more...not to mention a fantastic selection of wine for our Happy Hour. Thank you Mike and Fran!

Great getaway….The North Canyon Inn Bed & Breakfast was nothing less than a very warm and charming place to stay. This beautiful place is set among gorgeous landscaping and wildlife. I saw a fawn and her babies one morning not 25 feet from a comfortable screened in back porch. Fran and Mike were outstanding host’s and Fran was an amazing cook. Definitely enjoyed the homemade cookies and Happy Hour on the porch as well. Fran was gracious enough to take the time to share her delicious recipes. They recommended wonderful places to visit in and around Apple Hill as well as great places to eat. Definitely felt like we made new friends…. We will be back Fran and Mike, with friends and family.

North Canyon Inn Bed & Breakfast is our favorite place to stay when we come to Apple Hill! We have returned 5 times already! Fran & Mike have a beautiful treasure nestled in the woods there and they have made their accommodations so beautiful, relaxing and comfortable! We have been there as a couple and as a family. They are in a great location in the area to be able to visit the farms, wineries, breweries, and restaurants. Fran makes a wonderful breakfast each morning as well! We can also proudly say that Fran & Mike have become our friends! We would highly recommend staying there to unwind and have a relaxing retreat away from home! We definitely will be back again next year!!!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here after visiting South Lake Tahoe. Mike and Fran are exceptionally kind and generous hosts. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Mike built the building himself, and it is thoughtfully designed and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed the sun room which looks out at the redwood trees, pond, and gazebo in the back yard. Fran is a talented chef. Her cookies were mouth watering, fresh from the oven, and paired with local wines. The breakfast was similarly delicious with local produce and multiple creative courses. We would have loved to stay another night to check out the local brewery and have a chance to properly enjoy this cozy spot.
