We discovered the magic of Lassen Meadows a ranch long ago, it’s what keeps us coming back year after year. This is a place where the seasons are as they should be, where you can witness the transitions through the picturesque landscape and abundant wildlife. Whether hiking through the neighboring national forest, paddling out on the canoe, or exploring the extensive property, there are myriad ways to take in the splendor of this land. What continues to humble us is that Debbie and crew have opened up their little slice of paradise to others, sharing its bounty of wonder and affording us the ability to experience this magical place nestled among the pines. Thank you for your endless generosity and hospitality, for making us and our furry friends feel welcome always, and for affording us the space to write some of our most cherished memories.

How do you put to words one of the best experiences of your life? Lassen Meadows Ranch was where we decided to get married two years ago. The Lake Almanor area was incredibly important and sentimental to my wife, which is what started us off looking in this area. At the time there were little to no wedding venues available up at the lake. We were initially hesitant about Lassen Meadows as it is not actually part of the Lake, but up in the lake region. The first time we went to look at the property, everything changed. Debbie met us to show us around and we fell in love with the location immediately. Once you drive into the ranch you just know it's special right away.

Debbie is the kindest and most helpful human being. We were sold and in the following year got married at the property. It is a trek to get out there, but worth it and all part of the fun- to have an off the grid type wedding. The property offers gorgeous photo opportunities from the meadow to the lake. The cabins and the grounds are extremely well kept. Needless to say, this is now a part of my wife and my history and we feel it is necessary to make a point to come back on our anniversary every year. Debbie is so kind every year when we reach out to her and we now have an ongoing joke about seeing each other next September. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

It's quite a drive to get here with bumpy and gravel roads, but once you arrive, it's pure heaven! Beautiful venue with separate areas for ceremony, reception and dancing. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. Bring a dolly or cart to move equipment.
