Room was great—spacious, accessible, nice view of the airfield as well if watching planes is your thing. Was only here for a few nights but the staff was great and I was excited for breakfast every morning! Very safe area as well—security makes frequent rounds of the building, and you are quick walking/driving distance from some nice restaurants.

Comfortable and clean room with a friendly staff. I spent 30+ days here and my only gripe would be the lack of a real kitchen in the room. They give you a portable single induction burner upon request with a tiny skillet. No pot, just the small skillet. The utensils in the room were like 5 butter knives, 1 spoon, and 2 forks, but there were about 6 bowls, plates, glasses, and coffee cups. I wasn't a fan of the limited breakfast options compared to other Hilton properties either, but if you are only staying a short trip and don't need a stove, these won't be much of an issue for you. I was comfortable, my vehicle was safe with there being security patrolling 24/7, and again, it was clean and staff was friendly.

Located next to a municipal airport, there was some noise. The bed was squeaky and overly soft. On a more positive note: they served a decent breakfast and had security patrolling the parking lot frequently.

I checked in in the evening and went to bed. Woke up the next morning to find ALL of my toiletries, etc in the bathroom COVERED in ants. The floor was covered in ants, the countertop, and my toothbrush, nightguard, make-up, hairbrush, etc. COVERED in ants. I couldn’t even stand in the bathroom to try to wash them off because the ants on the floor were crawling up my legs while I was standing there. Disgusting! |Then saw them in the kitchen! I quickly washed off everything in the kitchen sink, packed up and ran to the front desk. Was given a slight discount for the room. Ridiculous because my daughter is getting married this evening and I wasn’t even able to get ready! I have to wait until checkin time at 3 at another hotel. Hilton Honors customer service was a 30 minute long joke. I have been Hilton Diamond or Gold for over 30 YEARS and have never been treated like this. |PS - went back up to room to get my water bottles from fridge. They were cleaning the room to ready it for another guest! It needs to be fumigated! I have photos AND video.|Also , just brushed an ant off my jacket in the car! Aargh!

1. I paid $189 for the night, but the carpet in the room smelled like wet dog, mold and clearly hasn’t been washed in over a year. Shame on you on behalf of all the gays. I would recommend washing the carpets or changing the flooring.
2. Parking was easy.
3. The hotel could use some renovations, unlike the Montebello that looks gorgeous.
4. Comparing the breakfast to the Montebello location I give it a 5. No eggs or food at the Hayward location. This location could use better food. I ended up going to Dennys.
5. The service and the give get 5 stars. The hotel itself 3 stars.

Clean, spacious rooms with a privacy curtain, work desk, kitchenette, and dishwasher.
Update,10/4/24: I enjoyed my stay here so much last year that I booked a couple of nights on my return trip. Rooms were clean and spacious, the front desk called ahead to let me know maintenance was going to do some work on the door. I appreciate the heads up. Breakfast was fine, but the yogurt machine wasn’t working on my second day there. Miss Stella was very welcoming and professional! I remembered her from my initial stay! She certainly is an asset to your organization! Thank you for a wonderful visit! Dining options are about a half mile away. This time around, I didn’t rent a car and opted to use Lyft and DoorDash, which were very convenient!

Very nice hotel, larger rooms than normal with a mini kitchen and sofa. Free breakfast is good too. Overall an excellent value
