Nothing grand about this hotel. Not worth the price I can get the same experience at a cheaper hotel. Valet is so unnecessary. Extra charge for nothing. No microwave in the room which is inconvenient. Pillows, get extra they are very flat. Wifi, you have to create an account with them to sign in. The best part about the stay was the very kind and thoughtful cleaning crew. They made my kids feel special by the cleaning crew setting up they're blanket with stuffed animals arranged in a nice matter on the bed. Other than that, no reason to ever come back to this hotel. They had expired items/opened items in their little store as well. I saw a lot of people having an issue paying for goodies as their card machine was down then they had no change. So people had to put their snacks back. Front desk personnel really seemed like they did not want to be there. No friendliness. I agree with those that said you could hear people and my door sounded like someone kept trying to open it. Very odd.

I had a great 5 night stay. This property is well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom feels a bit dated, but is still incredibly clean. The room has a comfortable bed, ample lighting options, and a good sized desk for working. WiFi was fast and reliable, and the lounge had a nice variety of breakfast options

Nice hotel, no complaints really. There are thin walls so... you may hear the neighbors amorous moments. Not sure there are many VIEWS but one would think the 6th floor would have them. We'll managed concierge bar. Nice to pop in and grab a soda. Ample gym! 2 days of workouts while I was there.

Bar, yes. Bar food, yes. I wish I could have spent more time with that chicken sandwich. It's not a fancy menu but the food is good and if something isn't desirable they make it right. I'll land here again if ever back in the area.

This hotel is very near both public transit (BART) and Target, which is very convenient. It is even walkable into downtown Walnut Creek in 25-30 minutes. The room was immaculate. The breakfast was typical for hotel breakfasts, but solid and consistent. The breakfast staff, Diana, was extremely helpful and friendly. She made sure everyone was notified when the breakfast was closing, and worked quickly to keep it all stocked.

The front desk was also helpful. The manager even extended my room two extra nights at the same rate. I witnessed one front desk staff being unfairly berated by a guess that didn't seem quite right in the head, and the front desk team handled it with professionalism and restraint.

My only complaint is that they offer valet only, but my guess based on watching the valets hustle and maximize the parking in front of the hotel is that they don't have enough traditional parking space to allow guests to self-park.

Came for an overnight visit with the dog. Fee is $100 for the stay. Dog walking options are west on Parkside or down Main towards downtown. The Marriott itself is worth a visit - a marvel from the last century. Rooms and corridors are freshly updated. Ceramic flooring in the rooms is slippery! Quiet experience but the place wasn’t full. Valet parking is $20/day, people were saving money by parking up the street under the 680 overpass.

Customer service ?Gave them my cc for "incidentals" and they double charged me and added an extra night. 5 days later I have still not received a call back or my money back.
Room was nice and location was good but customer service earned them a one star.

We just stayed three nights. The staff was very friendly, we got exceptional service from Lindsey at the front desk, and Reina, who was in the lounge.

Location was great, just a very short 1 mile to 2 mile ride to the center of Walnut Creek, which had a bunch of great restaurants. we took a day trip to San Francisco, and Muir Woods both on the same day. Everything is very accessible.

For the high price, this is by far the worst room I've ever stayed in. The fake window looks out at a mess of walls, beams, a security camera, a spider web, and the dining room. Added joy from lobby noise drifting upward. Room lighting is entirely inadequate. Dim, with hard to find switches. Bonus- TV remote doesn't work. If you're looking for a dark, joyless cave, go ahead and book room 518. Seriously, Marriott, just turn this room back into a storage closet.
