This place hit all the marks for what a late night bar should be in a vacation spot! It's open late with a big pool hall attached to the bar area. I saw some kids shooting pool, but they fit right into the atmosphere. The live music was outstanding. A guy was doing covers of good old songs. We walked into "Fish Fry Friday" which we could not stop ordering. There was four of us in the party and when we asked about the dollar bills on the wall we were told they would give us a staple gun and a Sharpie and we would forever be immortalized. We had to take advantage and had a fun time with the drinks, fish and chips, and the staple gun haha. Lots of really cool game on the walls as well, so if you're an animal loving vegetarian tree hugger I would definitely steer clear of this place. If you're a meat eater looking for whiskey and a good time definitely stop by.

Sultana Bar was a cozy and charming spot that felt like an authentic American local bar. Walking in from the cold, I immediately appreciated the warm atmosphere and the thoughtful, original decor—definitely a 5-star effort when it comes to appearance and ambiance. It had that nostalgic, small-town feel, which was a great start.

However, the experience was somewhat marred by the service. As a tourist, I felt a bit neglected by the staff at first, which detracted from the welcoming vibe I was hoping for. Though the service improved later in the evening, the initial impression lingered. A more consistent level of hospitality would make a big difference.

Another issue was the TVs. There was no sound, and when I asked to increase the volume, the staff declined, saying they didn’t want to hear it. Personally, I found this disappointing—it’s odd to have TVs on but muted, especially when guests want to engage with what’s being shown.

Overall, Sultana has potential with its unique decor and cozy environment, but it could definitely improve its customer service and attention to small details like the TV sound. With a bit more effort, this place could easily be a 4 star experience.

Stopped in here on a trip to Grand Canyon national Park. Nice dive bar. The had a special on beer brats that day. They massacred them. Brats were overcooked and the fries were overcooked. Bleh! Other than that, it's a cool enough place. Lots of locals, cool taxidermy, active pool table. Probably best for locals IMO

We love nostalgia. This bar is awesome and so old and has character. The bartender made me a Screwdriver with pink grapefruit juice. Uncle Russ would of been proud. I even bought a T-shirt for the Hubby. Didn't try the food. Maybe next time we are in town.

My wife and I stopped by this bar because they were playing some good music while we were walking on the strip. We ended up staying for some cold ones and a appetizer. The appetizer was big enough for the both of us. So delicious. The bartender was polite and helpful with the menu, she made us feel right at home.
