Ortiz panaderia is a very quiet atmosphere, customer service is decent bread and pastries I can honestly say are good and presentation of items is wonderful. But when it comes to trying their tamales I wasn't happy your paying for the masa itself the amount of meat that is put into their tamales isn't appetizing enough for me to return to purchase again.

This is the only panadería I get Mexican sweet bread from. It is so good and consistent. I only buy sweet bread or Pan Dulce but there are other food items here.

Good, fresh baked goods. I am very familiar with the sweet breads and their varieties, but if you've never had a baguette style fresh bread filled with cream cheese and Jalapeño, you should give it a try. They are very good.

I bought some delicious pan dulce to share with family out of town. We all truly enjoyed every single piece. I think this is my new favorite place for pan dulce in San Jose!

Terrible service. Ordered a 1/2 sheet, paid over $70 to get a 1/4 sheet with our graduates name spelled wrong. When I brought up the issue, I was told they couldn’t do anything about it since the baker was gone. After a while, was offered an additional 1/4 to make up the size. Wording was not centered and looked very unprofessional.
