Talk about an amazing place that's cool place. This is a place where you can come in and your eyes will just relax. It's beautiful scenery, amazing food and great workers.. This is a must stop place when you come to Selma.. I've had the legend burger and wow out of this world..

Yikes where do I even start? We’ve come here before for lunch and it’s been decent but we just came this morning for breakfast and it was terrible!! First off the room we were in was disgusting not the normal spot we go to for lunch. Every table was full of dirty dishes, the service was slow and the food was not good. I ordered the chicken fried steak which is supposed to come with eggs, toast and potatoes. I didn’t get the roast or potatoes and the scrambled eggs were cold and dry. The chicken fried steak tasted like salt. So gross I took 2 bites. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito which came out looking ok but it was basically all potatoes and minimal pieces of super salty bacon. No salsa or anything to go with it. The coffee was gross. I cannot believe that they even offer breakfast after this experience I doubt we’ll even attempt to come back for a lunch meal. So disappointing.

I travel through this area a few times per year. I always stop here to use the restroom and look at the koi pond. If you're in the area and want to stretch your legs or just have a walk near a nice koi pond this is a good spot! The location has a history being Anderson Pea Soup factory that gives a quirky atmosphere. You can see the old signs still up, and a run down television that doesn't work anymore. It would be neat if the new owners made the history more of a feature and had quick healthy food for travelers.

We have been coming to this restaurant since 2012. We've had very good experience over the past years but recently the professionalism of the staff and the management has been much to be desired. I have only two special servers who go beyond the Call of Duty when it comes to serving their customers.
We were there for Mother's Day brunch and it was the most unorganized brunch I have ever attended. The food was mildly good not great. Meat serving table wax excellent. But omelet bar was set up in the middle of the buffet line and was completely congested with others who wanted to be served something other than an omelet.
The receptionist seated us at a table without place ware so when we had our meal we had to ask for it several times. A complimentary champagne mimosa was offered but there was an issue with champagne not being served since it was not under refrigeration. Evidently the business had to go outside the restaurant to purchase additional champagne in order to fill the requested service.
I experienced very angry patrons swearing to the service because of service delays and they were asked to leave. No manager got involved. Servers handled the lack of support from management. This added to the Frustration to the whole room. We observed management just hanging out not helping to provide service that we needed on mother's Day.

Recently we went back for dinner and again seated without place ware so we had to ask for napkins and silverware. The management doesn't seem to have it altogether in order to serve as properly. It was quite busy on a Sunday afternoon and one server took care of the whole dining room which led to other difficulties in Serving properly. Two tables were seated and then left without acknowledgement and service. Realizing the bartender was serving the bar and also waiting on the patrons in the bar area . We also notice there was one employee clearing tables at his own pace leaving dirty dishes sitting out on neighboring tables for some time.
Management was on the floor but nothing seemed to change. It's very sad to see that an establishment like this would be at "the beginning" of not knowing how to run a business.
I have seen managers come and go at this establishment and it's really sad to know the owner doesn't know about management of a restaurant either.

Exceptional service from the fantastic bartender Yvonne! What an amazing soul. She made my experience here THAT MUCH BETTER! The non-alcoholic michi with Heineken O and the tri-tip nachos on happy hour were DELICIOUS! What a great choice! Definitely returning and referring! Thanks!!!

This was a recommended stop on our long drive but I was severely under impressed. It was dirty and the food was not worth the money. There are stains all over the booths. Just look at the lamps and you can see how dirty it is there. I couldn't wait to leave. If they clean it up, change their lighting and up the quality of the food, they could have something. To be fair, our server was kind so that's a big plus.

Went this past Friday around 3-4 pm. Food was okay. Service by the bartender wasn't the best. She was so worried about everything else but the customers. Wasn't present much and when she was, she had her back turned to customers doing other things.
