I love that it’s 21 and over. My husband and I celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary here this beautiful Memorial Day weekend. Our accommodations were amazing. We had room 21. It was perfect for us, our entry to the heated pool, spa and bar was located in front of our path. The hammock in front of our porch was a beautiful way to end the evening. We are definitely coming back, and recommending to all our friends. We also met some beautiful people there too.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the River Lodge In Paso Robles-- the perfect staging location for our weekend of wine tasting and visiting friends.

This 1950s era roadside motel and its grounds has been stylishly and tastefully remodeled and we found the rooms to be quiet and very well appointed.

Our favorite part of the River Lodge was the Ciao Papi restaurant / bar and pool complex. Very well-planned! Seeing the hot tub, plenty of relaxing lounge chairs, and the adjacent bar, we decided to end one of our wine tasting days early so that we could have a full afternoon at the pool. This did not disappoint!

All four of us would highly recommend this hotel for couples and friends visiting the area.

Had an amazing stay here. Really enjoyed the food and bar here. Really felt like we were in our own little vacation bubble. We got room 4 which has an outdoor shower and courtyard and then our friends got room 1 with a courtyard. You can join the courtyards as an option which was cool. We will definitely come back.

Traveling with a group for our annual spring wine tasting trip. Staying at the River Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip! The "Motel" has been redone in a very classy manner...from the private front yard and hammocks, to the room furnishings and amenities. The pool area, hot tub, poolside bar and restaurant became our "Go to" after our wine tasting excursions. A great place to unwind and reconnect! I hope to plan another trip to Paso Robles in the future just so I can stay at the River Lodge again!

We loved our tastefully decorated room, the comfortable bed, the private front porch area and the restaurant and bar on site. The pool will be great during the hotter summer months. Although River Lodge is not walkable to downtown Paso Robles, it is close to many award winning wineries. Treat yourself and book a stay at this updated and fun motel!

River Lodge was such a relaxing getaway. The rooms are super cute with a cozy fireplace and hammock on the front porch. We loved visiting the restaurant for amazing cocktails. Only wish it was sunnier out during our stay so we could enjoy the adults-only pool.

We've been to Paso Robles half a dozen times, and this is probably our favorite place to stay. It has the cutest vibes and some very nice design touches throughout. ||The room itself was comfortable and a decent size, and I really enjoyed having the fireplace controlled with the flick of a switch. Our room came with a cute little lawn out front and a hammock. I really enjoyed taking in the morning sun and drinking some of the provided coffee. The pool area is super vibey and channels Palm Springs. The bar at the pool was staffed by very friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. It was a bit annoying that everything out there closed at 9:00 p.m., so we missed our chance for the Jacuzzi.||Probably the only blemish was that there is no bottle opener in the room, which makes even less sense being in the wine country. While I'm at it, the pool bar did not serve any Paso Robles red wine by the glass, which seems like a little bit of a miss given the location and/or trying too hard to be different. ||Oh and one other weird thing. When you arrive at the hotel, it's actually very hard to find where to go and check in because there's a complete lack of signage around any of the entrances. There is one very small sign painted in a way that makes it difficult to read from afar. Upon making your way to the reception for check-in, make sure you do not hit your head on the incredibly low awning.

Absolutely loved our stay here. One of the best getaways we've had in a long time. Rooms are gorgeous, and the pool is beautiful with a great vibe. Only thing is the food at the pool is trying too hard to be fancy and isn't actually very good. But the bar was great. We'd absolutely stay here again.
