My husband and I came to San Francisco today from Sacramento and chose Cinderella Bakery & Café for lunch. We ordered borscht and fried dumplings — everything was delicious and very home-style! Authentic Ukrainian food that brought back warm memories. We especially loved that there’s a wide variety of baked goods, pastries, and Ukrainian dishes and drinks.

The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area with covered benches — cozy and surprisingly dust-free even though it’s near the road. Portions are generous — you’ll definitely leave full.

The only downside was that the tables were a bit sticky and the interior felt a bit dated — though that kind of added to the nostalgic charm. If you’re craving real Ukrainian food, I definitely recommend stopping by.

I've been wanting to visit this place for a long time, and finally, last Saturday, I had the chance to have lunch there. I will return every time I get the opportunity. It has a reputation for a reason: delicious, simple food, a wide selection, reasonable prices, fast service, and the food tastes simply amazing. Everything I tried was fantastic!

The only thing I wish for is a bigger place, but I suppose that's something we all want to. I just want more stomach and time to try every dish on their menu! If you haven't visited this place yet, don't hesitate. I do not doubt that every item on their menu is worth trying and tastes delicious.

Went there for a weekend brunch. Amazing atmosphere with the sun shinning behind me and the freshest juiciest soup in front of me.

Piroshki was a very interesting texture. Enjoyed it but nothing beats the toast, butter and soup for me.

Great place for Russian food in the neighbourhood. Great selection of food and pastries, could definitely eat there or do the take away, great in any option. Very friendly stuff, food is delicious!

Very popular place!! I was told by my client to get the dumpling soup, it's delicious! Dumplings stuffed with pork and beef, with sour cream. I added extra chicken broth and had them fry the won tons (I think I enjoyed the soup better without them frying - tried both ways!).

Best Borsch soup I ever had! Lots of cabbage and tomatoes inside. It was soooo good! Warm and satisfied. Recommend everyone to have one in these cold days. The salmon pie was okay. Many nice outdoor seats.

From the moment I arrived, I was amazed at how busy the cafe was. I tried the honey cake (medovik) which was delicious.It was layered, moist and delicately sweet. The napoleon is also creamy and a must try.
It’s clear this bakery puts love and pride into every recipe.
