I arrived and there was a mix up where another guest used our room unscheduled thinking it was theirs. The guests friends told us what had happened and where they put the key. The linens were used up and left dirty. I called the number and messaged through the AirBnB app. The staff was quick to remedy the situation. It was not the fault of the staff and was an honest mistake but I was left impressed with the promptness of their resolution to clean the room and replace the linens. It looks and smells wonderful. I really appreciated their swift actions. Kudos to the staff. I highly recommend staying here!!

My husband and I had the best weekend here while we were in Eureka Springs this summer. Our room was fully stocked with soaps, snacks, and complimentary wine. The Brownstone is located within a 5 minute drive of town center, which is perfect when you are wanting to just get out and explore!

The best part for us was the complimentary breakfast in the morning. Most of the food was grab and go, but they also offered several homemade baked goods that were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. 10/10 would recommend!!

We loved our stay at The Brownstone Inn! We didn't know what to expect from an "Inn". This was our second time staying in Eureka Springs and now we won't stay anywhere else besides The Brownstone Inn. It was the perfect blend of old Victorian Style with modern touches of home. The room smelled clean, not old and stale like some older homes. The whole place was spotless.||The bed and linens were so comfortable! My husband doesn't sleep well anywhere except our own home and he slept great! The jacuzzi tub was amazing! Bath tub salts were provided and there was even mood lighting. The shower was also nice with 3 shower heads. Shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were provided as well as shower loufas, which we were not expecting and was a very nice surprise. A hairdryer was also provided which was great because I forgot to bring one. ||In the sitting room there was a basket of goodies and snacks awaiting our arrival. There was also a mini fridge filled with ozarka water (of course) and a variety of soda. There was a flat screen television with cable and many channels which we watched before going to bed. There was also a DVD player set up. Our stay was also made very comfortable by the modern nest thermostat. It was so easy to use, we liked it so much we are going to buy one for our own home. ||In the parlor, there was a variety of breakfast foods set up and a full kitchen for the guests to use. The homemade blueberry muffins and Amish friendship bread was also amazing! Like your bread warmed up with a little butter on it? Theres a microwave in the kitchen and butter set out. There were also plenty of board games and a good selection of dvds for guest use. ||Riley helped us even before we arrived to make sure we could get a hold of him on an alternative line when his main phone line was not working properly. I left notes for Jeanie who cleaned the room and she answered all my questions in a timely manner. Truly such sweet and thoughtful hosts!

Great quiet location, very peaceful. Exterior of building is beautiful. We stayed in the penthouse and it was ok, clean but the interior really needs to be updated. Had a great little private porch to sit on. Bed was very loud and squeaky when we would just sit on it, so maybe needs a new bed, but the linens were soft and comfortable. Overall pretty decent place for the value.

We had a very early Spring Break where we are from so my teen daughter and I drove to Memphis first and then to Eureka Springs. Quick online search, I chose the Brownstone Inn, and crossed my fingers. Boy was I glad I did. Beautiful room, beautiful location, walking distance from the historic downtown area. Easy instructions on accessing room and common areas. The room had everything we needed to enjoy our two nights there. Definitely want to return with the hubby (he had to work.)

As it was exceedingly hot in Eureka Springs we were very grateful that the air-conditioning in our room worked. The bed was awful the bathroom was subpar. The outside of the building looked abandoned. Anything that had once been a plant was dead deck was covered in leaves and I believe there was some mouse droppings on the stairs. The brown stone Inn sign that you see in these pictures wasn’t even hanging up. The benches were dirty the chairs were dirty. Was quite shocking doesn’t look anything like the pictures

The Good. Historic old building with tall ceilings and old charm. We stayed in the Innkeeper suite, smallest of the rooms; great bed, nice sitting area, well appointed, nice shower, outside patio area with table and chairs, elevated deck area with nice shade trees, tables and chairs, big common area with a kitchen, dining table and lounge with lots of books.
The Bad. The sink is tiny. No microwave in the room so don't let your coffee get cold. The common area is around the other side of the Inn up two flights of stairs; don't forget your key. Climate control was problematic. AC worked fine but no heat. The tables and chairs outside the room were dirty and we had to wipe them down.
The Ugly. Not a great location. Really at the far end of town . Worse, it's at the bottom of the hill. Everything is up and quite a ways at that. Located very near to the main road. Lots of car noise and lots of bikers cruising by. Sitting area has a great view of some high power cables.

My wife needed to get away from it all so on a whim chose Eureka Springs. We had last been there about 30 years ago. We stumbled on the Brownstone Inn via a website and called for a reservation. When we got to town, we found the place to be very nicely appointed, clean, modern and all around great, quiet place to stay. We stayed 3 days and it was great. It is not located right in downtown but on 23 and right across from the train station. We finally figured out that the trolley is the way to get around ES as that avoids parking hassles downtown and is just easier all around. Check it out. Great place.
