It look and felt like a nice country feel but the waitress wasn’t very welcoming nor attentive. The food was like out of the box no flavor, had to ask for coffee refills.

I ate breakfast at Carla's two mornings in a row when visiting Star City and the food was amazing!! The Cafe's decor is county and inviting, very clean. The employees were so friendly and efficient. And the food was great! So fresh and made from scratch. I highly recommend this Cafe!

Wonderful service and delicious breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast--sounds basic but it was just what I wanted and cooked perfectly. The western omelet got rave reviews, too. Good, hot coffee there, and a host of local characters (I hope Beaver got his waffles)!

We got there around 12:20pm and to their credit it was after the lunch rush had wiped out the specials. The off the menu items were good. I had the hamburger steak with onions and gravy. It looked small but was incredibly filling. I enjoyed the salad that came with it, but be prepared it looks a little underwhelming. When we had service it was fantastic, but they were pretty busy cleaning up after the rush. I will be trying to make it earlier to try that lunch special, it must really be something!

Best lunch in town! The beef tips were great!pork chops=great!!Burgers were great! And the service was wonderful! They got one waitress that was really wonderful,she always made sure you had everything you neede!! Keep up the good work!!!

Found this place on accident just riding around. Never been to this town and I love to check out random places.

At first I was iffy. Seemed awkward at first, place must be used to regulars and not many new people. But upon eating my food I can see why. (for having regulars who seem to frequent as I see people popping in.)

I had a cheese burger and Cajin fries.

The fries were cooked exactly how I love them. Crispy but not too crispy. Seasoned amazingly.

The burger though. Seasoned patty. Good size. Just a great place to have lunch.

I'm impressed.

Ps their tea is good too. Definitely recommend.
