Recently stayed in one of the remodeled rooms which was very nice; however, apparently housekeeping didn’t feel like changing the beds from the previous guest. I stayed in a room with double beds and they both had NOT been changed. Management there are some things that’s acceptable when making cuts, but this is not one of them. How would you like to sleep in a bed behind someone you don’t know? I’ve stayed at this location numerous times and never had this happen. Please correct this!!!!!!!

Positive: Everything is nice-new and clean. I didn't check yet but I think I was supposed to get a king size bed but got a queen - no problem. Negative: YES! We got there and all we could smell was fresh paint. It was bad in the room but worse in the corridors. We should have been informed of this when reservations were made so we could have chosen a different hotel. The smell made me sick.

Positive: Easy to find and very clean and staff was freindly. Negative: they were working to upgrade and the work out room was closed. I understand that and would stay there again.

Enju'Davis deserves a major shout out. I will keep this as short as possible. I had an extremely difficult trip. My flight was delayed, my car rental reservation was cancelled due to lack of cars, my hotel reservation across the street gave away my room. After being stranded, I turned up to the Hampton Inn in Monticello Arkansas. Enju'Davis managed to not take my frustration personally. She comforted me, assured me she would give me a wonderful room, and she gave me a good belly laugh with her wonderful sense of humor. This hotel is extremely lucky to have her. She turned a terrible experience into a wonderful memory, and any company would be lucky to have her representing them. I would definitely come back to this hotel, and I'll tell my friends about it too. Hampton for life!! Please give her a kudos, she deserves it. Sincerely.

We stayed on third floor room 303 no internet unless you went to middle of hallway near elevator. I said something but was told most likely my fault. Also no hair dryer so had to go down and get one. Also they are renovating and you will hear hammering at 8am, we did. Also treadmills in fitness room not working. All items listed reported to front desk.

The room was as expected. Clean and ok. Breakfast was lacking compared to other Hampton Inns. Wasn't greeted or acknowledged of diamond status and had to ask for water.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Especially room 316!! My partner and I had to stay here because our air went out at home and being under a heat advisory during the horrid summer, we had no choice. Chose Hampton inn thinking that it was the better choice because we once stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street and they had roaches in the room assigned. The last time I stayed at this Hampton Inn was a couple of years ago and honestly I’ve never had a problem until now. Woke up to BED BUGS in our bed and had to evacuate at 4 am because of it back to a hot and humid house! Not only that but the room was poorly cleaned with dusty, outdated, and stained appliances. The cable wasn’t working properly, but we endured because we were hot and tired and just needed to rest. And the the only thing the worker at the front desk could say was sorry about the bed bugs?! Imagine traveling all day, get home to a broken unit, and then THINKING you’re getting a decent stay somewhere just to be exposed and bitten by bed bugs!! I am FURIOUS and will never stay here again! Monticello has to do better. The two “better quality” hotels in this thriving area with such grave issues.
