I’m a first timer here in Prescott, and I highly recommend Wild Iris! The shop is so cute with plenty of inside seating and it even has an outdoor patio. I opted for the Romeo and Juliet drink and it was so yummy! I had to stop by and get everyday we were in town!

I grew up on homemade biscuits

I can still imagine my grandmother in the kitchen with flour tossed about

I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit and after taking just one bite I wished I just had a basket full of biscuits with assorted jams and jellies

Omg you guys it was sooooo delicious

Now on the quiche
I’m not always the biggest fan but this was actually pretty good

Of course I still prefer the biscuits

The coffee was great
Wonderful flavor and they have some solid options to choose from

The outside patio is absolutely gorgeous so if you’ve escaped the heat from Phx take a seat outside. You won’t regret it

Gorgeous little spot tucked just down the street 3 minutes or less from where I was staying at St. Michaels Hotel on Whiskey Row. Amazing ambience, quality products and kindness at every turn from staff. Refreshing and delicious assortment if fresh baked goods. I felt, considering it was a coffee spot everything was priced fairly with quite a variety of prices...in other words it could be very budget friendly which is rare in the world of some coffee houses in high volume tourist cities.

My sister and I stop at Wild Iris for a break from browsing in Prescott's many nearby antique and specialty shops. This coffee shop has good food and beverages in an enticing atmosphere. We almost always choose to have our treats seated next to the flowing creek, under the trees and clouds.

My crust-less quiche thingy (fritatta) was tasty but a bit dry possibly overcooked but that was made up for by the amazing latte with house-made oat milk. Wow I've never had such a fabulous dairy alternative. My man had a bagel sandwich which he says wasn't bad. But he also rather enjoyed his dairy milk latte. In fact so much that he found he hadn't even needed the extra shot he'd asked for. The espresso was super rich and strong.
But the best thing about this café was the ambience. The service was non-assuming, calm and friendly. Not too chipper and in your face but totally attentive and amicable. The bathrooms were comfortable and clean.
There was artwork on the walls, people busy on laptops, reading or drawing and having quiet conversation. There were tall windows that looked out onto the Riverwalk park outdoors where there was a magnificent green space with a few tables and benches.
There was also a rather nice seating area in the front. The overall experience felt a bit like being transported back in time 20 years when things still felt hopeful and creative before the pandemic which among other things seems to have made everything so corporate and bleak.

Wanted a snack and some caffeine and found the perfect place for it.
I was worried that they weren't gonna have any since most cafes are out of snacks by the afternoon and I came during an hour before closing time. But to my delight, they still had a variety of baked goods ranging from cookies, bars, cheesecakes, pastries and pies available!

I decided to go with the double chocolate zucchini loaf and it perfectly satiated my chocolate craving! I was a little hesitant at first because it had zucchini (just sounded healthy when I wanted something downright sinful), but it turned out to be so chocolatey!

I was kinda bummed that they were out of pistachio milk and I couldn't get the Spring-special pistachio almond latte. Ended up getting the (also seasonal) blackberry tea latte and it was great! It's like having a latte and those butter jam thumbprints.

There are plenty of seatings inside and outside. And this seems like a nice place to get some work done too.
