Highly recommend this Hotel/Resort. A 7 day stay was $1200. Not bad at all. The valet guys take you to your little piece of paradise in a golf cart. It's amazing waking up to the wildlife every morning and the cactus and amazing views. The guys working there are always checking on people in the heat, handing out lots of free water. Love the service and the lovely scenery.

We arrived on a night when it was raining buckets, and cold as hell; and even in the dark we could tell there was something about the Boulders that was different. The next day after a good nights sleep on the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever had, with the sun up, and the rain a distant memory the true grandeur of the resort sank in.||I've included some pictures of the scenery that greeted us, and I can say the pictures do not capture the true beauty on display. It really has to be experienced. Surrounded by nature on all sides you feel as if you have travelled to some far-away exotic locale, and it is very easy to forget the world for a time.||Now onto the resort proper. The first thing we encountered were the incredible staff of the resort. We'd come to them after our flight out to visit family was cancelled, and we were wet and cold; Shirley at the front desk took one look at us and jumped into action. She booked us into a room, her favorite, and I have to say she has excellent taste. From there the bell staff drove us to our room, and carried our bags upstairs to our room. They took the time to walk us through the room's amenities, and left us to decompress.||The room we were in was a single king, with a fireplace (non-functioning) but still nice, a comfortable area to sit and relax, a bathroom bigger than my spare bedrooms back home, and sliding shutter doors that offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the boulders outside, 4 door widths wide. As I mentioned the bed was the most comfortable I've had at any hotel.||That first day we walked to the spa for a couples massage, and Kasha, and Jasmine proceeded to massage the previous days' tension away. The massage was amazing, they were very focused on us, and our preferences, adapting their massages on the fly. At every point our comfort was their sole focus. We don't get massages often, but this was something special. In the gender specific facilities they have a Ofuro tub, kept at 98º, a dry, and wet sauna, lockers, and showers. On the grounds they have different areas offering serene surroundings to unwind. There is also a quiet pool and spa on the premises.||That leads me to the single greatest part of our experience, the staff. From the moment we checked in, Shirley made it her mission to ensure we had an amazing experience. Justin and Susan the concierge were able to help us with any reservations, or questions we had. At the Discovery lounge the first night, Perla and Etkin, two lovely ladies, served us dinner and drinks with kindness, and great conversation. At the pools Marcella mixed us the perfect Pina coladas each to our tastes. Mia at Palo Verde served us an amazing breakfast the next morning. ||We had a single negative experience at a restaurant, and when we politely made them aware of it, management listened; the food and drink manager Hridesh quite literally went way above and beyond anything we expected given the situation. This resort understands that excellent customer service will be recognized, and appreciated.||If it seems to you, the reader, that I am heaping praise upon this resort, it's because I am. My father raised me to remember that it is easy to complain, but that it is better to be the person who recognizes excellence. To call it out in a world that doesn't often take the time it should to lift others up.

As many other reviews state, this property relies on the PROPERTY. This place could use some serious attention from Hilton in terms of customer service/training. The property itself is gorgeous. Landscaping is immaculate. The rooms are pleasant, large, and well-appointed (I stayed in a base-level casita, nothing upgaded). Very comfortable bed. The resort was quiet, clean, and unquestionably geared toward relaxation.

Issues:
The staff is completely disorganized. You can ask three different people the same question and get three different answers.

Service is unpredictable. On their website AND on the printout given at check-in, they clearly state that drink service is offered at the main pool between certain hours daily. There was, in fact, no drink service on the first day of my visit. When I called the front desk to inquire about whether or not there was drink service
available, the employee simply said, "No. Not right now." No options, no alternatives, no explanation. Very poor customer service, especially considering the nightly rate. Is it really that big of a deal that drink service wasn't available? No. But amenities like that shouldn't be advertised if they aren't available, and when someone inquires about these amenities and why they aren't being offered, good, polite information needs to be given.

The spa was very so-so, especially considering the level of the property. Services were good, but some did not match the description listed. The lockers are very outdated and the locks were finicky--I was afraid I was going to snap my key in the lock. There is no proper "relaxation area," just wicker patio-style furniture that isn't the most comfortable.

Overall, for the nightly price, I expected MUCH more from the staff in every aspect. The property itself was lovely. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing. I would, and most likely will, return to stay here again. I'm just hopeful that Hilton will pay attention to these reviews and get some much-needed training to the staff here.

I've stayed here twice and this resort is absolutely amazing. The location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and feel private. The property's layout is great. The restaurant were all great and Discovery lounge had live music while we were there that was nice.

Let's talk about the staff! Wow! Seriously some of the best I've seen and they know the meaning of Hospitality. They are always smiling and were so helpful. You can have the prettiest hotel and if your team isn't ion par it shows. This resort has a great location, good course, restaurants, pool, rooms and a fantastic team.

Truly a gem!

The resort is beautiful and the location and views ate great as were the golf courses which are in great condition. However, the rooms are showing signs or wear and maintenance and cleanliness leave something to be desired! The Staff are friendly and helpful in most cases, although the main bar staff and some of the breakfast restaurant staff were somewhat 'abrupt' which seemed almost rude or uncaring. However, all in all, our stay was great albeit so.ewhat expensive for the quality of the experience! Watch out for the added "Resort Fee" and another "Fee" (no explanation) and Taxes, that are added to the already costly Room Rate!!

Amazing grounds! The resort seems to be well-run, in general.

Here are key areas for improvement:

- The resort has a lot of potential beyond golf, especially when it comes to the swimming pools, which are softly speaking underwhelming. With your grounds, you can have an amazing swimming pool set up and attract a broader audience.
- Add a proper large coffee shop with a great espresso maker as well as non-coffee drinks selection
- Improve dining options, menu, service quality according to customer feedback, which does not look great and encouraged us to dine outside of the resort

Would not recommend for Mother’s Day Brunch. I thought it was odd that we really couldn’t find any reviews or pictures about the Boulder’s Mother’s Day brunch and now I know why. It was just a let down. So disappointed with the quality and selections of food. It was in a ballroom with little decor and few windows to see out onto their beautiful landscape. We do brunch every year and this has been one of the worst. Misleading they call it a buffet and they have an omelet station, charcuterie, fruit, a few pastries and 3 other breakfast items for the buffet. You select an entree from a menu of 6 options and it was mediocre wedding food. When we call to make the reservation the concierge said it included mimosas but when we got there it was an additional charge. All around just disappointing.

Love love loved this resort. I hilly recommend coming here if you’re looking for rest and relaxation. It’s near other restaurants and stores, so anything you need is near. A little drive from the main airport and phoenix but so worth the getaway! Staff is friendly and upkeep is on point!
