Our stay at Eagle Dancer Resort was made complete by discovering **Sedona Tai Chi Massage**, conveniently located right on the resort property in Suite B. After days of exploring Sedona's stunning landscapes, our tired muscles desperately needed professional attention - and this hidden gem delivered exactly what we needed!
The "Red Rock Recovery Special" (their therapeutic foot soak + full-body Chinese therapeutic massage) was a game-changer. The warm herbal foot bath worked miracles on our aching feet, while the skilled therapists used authentic techniques to relieve every knot and tension point from our hikes. This wasn't just relaxation - we could actually feel the healing happening with each precise movement.
What stood out most was how the therapists listened carefully and adjusted perfectly to our specific needs. After our 90-minute session, we walked out feeling completely transformed - ready to enjoy the resort's beautiful pool and amenities without any lingering soreness. For Eagle Dancer guests looking for authentic recovery after outdoor adventures, this is an absolute must-try.
Pro tip: Book your appointment after visiting the resort's nearby hiking trails - your body will thank you! The foot soak comes with different herbal options - we particularly enjoyed the invigorating peppermint blend.
P.S. Their flexible hours make it easy to fit a session into your vacation schedule - the perfect way to either start your day energized or unwind after sunset!

My husband and were visiting Sedona and booked massages at the Eagle dancer resort. We could not be more impressed. Everyone we spoke with while booking the massages were incredibly accommodating and the treatments themselves were the highlight of our trip.
Omkari and shanti were both absolutely incredible at what they do. The facility was gorgeous and the experience was incredibly healing. We will definitely be back.
Thank you to everyone who made our experience so special.

Eagle Dancer is truly a special place. From the moment I first discovered it online, I felt drawn to it — and after spending a few days here, I can confidently say it was everything I had hoped for and more. The energy of this place is undeniable. Nestled in the stunning Sedona landscape with breathtaking views of the Red Rocks, it offers a sense of peace and tranquility that’s hard to find elsewhere.
We stayed in the Garden Studio, and it was absolutely perfect. The private outdoor garden terrace with a gas fire pit overlooking the Red Rocks was one of our favorite parts of the stay. We loved sitting around the fire in the mornings and evenings — it was incredibly peaceful and the perfect way to start and end the day. The room also had an indoor fireplace, which created the coziest vibe for the evenings.
From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed with open arms. Iona and Huib are incredibly intentional with the experience they create for their guests, and it’s evident in every little detail — from the stocked fridge upon arrival to the hand-selected wine in a mini fridge in the room, and even the yoga mats thoughtfully provided for use. Every aspect of the stay feels curated to enhance relaxation, healing, and connection to the surrounding nature.
One of the most unique and powerful aspects of Eagle Dancer is that there is a vortex directly on the property. You can truly feel the energy — it’s an incredible space for meditation, reflection, and grounding. Combined with the surrounding Red Rocks, it makes for an unforgettable, deeply restorative experience.
We particularly loved the spa area, which includes a hot tub, pool, steam room, and sauna — perfect for contrast therapy! It was the ultimate way to unwind, reset, and take in the peaceful surroundings. The floating meditation deck, with its incredible views, was another highlight, offering a serene space to disconnect and be fully present.
A really unique touch was the hand-crafted Buddhas from Bali, thoughtfully placed throughout the property. It made the experience even more peaceful (and fun) as we found them in different spots. We also loved that from the property itself, we had direct access to incredible hikes, allowing us to step right into nature without having to drive anywhere.
Eagle Dancer is truly a place to get away —offering a much more peaceful and tranquil experience than your typical resort. It’s a place for healing, stillness, and reconnecting with yourself and nature.
Highly, highly recommend! We’re so grateful for our time here and can’t wait to return.

Our stay at Eagle Dancer Retreat was nothing short of incredible! As parents of two small children, my husband and I rarely get the chance to truly unwind and reconnect, and this retreat provided the perfect setting to do just that. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the breathtaking views that surrounded us—the scenery alone was worth the trip!
The spa area was an absolute dream, offering the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Our couples massage was exactly what we needed to fully embrace the peace and tranquility of the retreat. Another highlight was the trailheads located right on the property, making it effortless to step outside and immerse ourselves in nature. Whether we were enjoying a sunrise hike or a peaceful evening stroll, the connection to the outdoors was unbeatable.
While Eagle Dancer Retreat feels like a secluded oasis, it is also in close proximity to town, where we explored fine dining options, unique shopping areas, and local attractions. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, and we left feeling completely refreshed. If you’re looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway in Sedona, I cannot recommend Eagle Dancer Retreat enough!

A Romantic Escape with Breathtaking Views
My wife and I stayed at Eagle Dancer Resort for a romantic getaway, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed in the Upper Casita, which offered stunning views of Coffee Pot Rock and Cathedral Rock right from our patio—truly a sight to wake up to every morning.
As other reviews have mentioned, the resort is a hiker’s paradise, with trails ranging from easy walks to more challenging hikes just steps from the door. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this location delivers.
The casita itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed, with a thoughtful touch—a curated selection of 18 wines available for purchase, handpicked by the owner. It was the perfect addition to a romantic evening in Sedona.
It’s also the perfect place to relax and unwind by the pool. One day, we decided to do absolutely nothing except enjoy a fabulous couples massage, and it was exactly what we needed.
The highlight of our stay was our final night, when Chef David prepared an incredible dinner for us in our casita. Every dish was perfectly executed, making for an unforgettable dining experience in the comfort of our own space.
Our hosts, Iona and Huib, were warm and welcoming, ensuring that everything was seamless. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet intimate getaway in Sedona, Eagle Dancer Resort is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

We came here with high expectations and were completely blown away. We stayed in the Sanctuary room and that’s exactly what it was. This was hands down the best service we have ever had, and it’s completely genuine. Even the smallest touches are handled with the upmost care. For instance, they have a welcome bottle of wine upon arrival but my fiancé was not a wine drinker, so they had his favorite kind of beers waiting instead. I say “was” because he ended up loving the wine they chose, which never happens, so they definitely know their wine. Also they stock the mini fridge with snacks, water and other things, which was very nice touch. They make sure your stay here is tailored to the kind of experience you want to have. They give you a tour of the property and show you all the amenities. You could feel how much pride they take in their property and guest experience.
The best part of our stay, aside from the room, was that it’s so quiet and you feel like you are the only ones on the property. You are completely enveloped in nature while having all the creature comforts next to you. Speaking of creatures, we saw deer, chipmunks and even a pack of little javelinas passing by our rooms. We love having a private entry trailhead so we can simply walk to the trails from our rooms without having to drive and battle for parking. The trails are not busy either and you mostly have it all to yourself. We had the couples massage and the ladies were incredible! Their giant hot tub and steam room are a must after a long hike. Their kitchen has everything you need to make yourself a nice romantic meal for two. We cannot wait to come back again and thank you for your incredible hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay in the Upper Casita at Eagle Dancer. Eagle Dancer is a truly unique property in Sedona. The views are breathtaking. We loved access to the dry sauna, steam room, and hot tub. We also enjoyed being able to walk directly to a wonderful trail. If you are looking for a tranquil escape, this is it.

Of all the places we've stayed in over the years in Sedona, nothing has compared to the magical Eagle Dancer. The setting. The accommodations. The views. The location. The hosts. Everything blends into an unforgettable experience. We stayed in the Upper Casita, which offered spectacular and unobstructed views of the gorgeous rocks. We loved the incredibly comfortable bed and the spacious shower, with its dual heads. The hosts,
Iona and Huib, made us feel special and welcomed and were extremely responsive to any request or question. For hikers like us, the location was perfect because we could trek to great trails right from our room. The grounds, adorned with more than 100 Buddha statues, put us in a Zen-like state that freed us from thoughts of everyday life. Is Eagle Dancer expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely!
