We stayed for two nights at the Grand Canyon location. Both the kids and grandparents loved the experience. Food was really good, service was amazing. The drive to Grand Canyon was pretty short. I was not good at getting the wood stove to stay lit, my husband was. So if you aren’t outdoorsy, you might struggle with this. The beds were cozy and warm so the only time we really needed the stove was in the mornings. We’ve already talked as a family about staying at some other locations.

Loved our experience, and experience it was!! Not just another night in another hotel, but an opportunity to enjoy and be a part of the natural surroundings. The main "lobby", restaurant and food, games and staff were all amazing; so helpful! The tent, amenities in the tent were perfect - just the right amount to be comfortable yet, not take away from the camping feel. Really great work Under Canvas, stayed at Mt. Rushmore too and love the consistency between sites as it is easy to know what to expect. Thanks for a few great "camping" trips!

An incredible experience surrounded by nature! The landscape is absolutely stunning, and the whole setting makes you feel truly connected to the outdoors. The tent was spacious and comfortable—definitely XXL size, with everything needed for a great stay. One of the best parts was gathering around the fire, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The staff was friendly and respectful, adding to the overall welcoming vibe.

The only minor issue was the water temperature in the shower—it was too hot at the start, which made it a bit tricky to use. But apart from that, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy glamping in a breathtaking environment!

Under Canvas Grand Canyon is absolutely amazing. The views, the amenities, the food and staff are all top notch. If you want the warm fuzzy feelings of summer camp complete with board games craft nights and S’mores, mixed with fresh 5 star food, hand crafted cocktails, cozy glamping tents and insane starry skies- book here immediately. ||||The staff will make you feel welcome from the second your feet hit the dirt and will be there for everything you need until the second you drive away. ||Make sure to hit up the Grand Canyon- an easy 45 minute drive away.

I came here as a girl’s trip. Since it’s located about 40 minutes south of the Grand Canyon, we decided to stay here for a night before we headed back to the city. We were able to check in early. The guest experience supervisor Adam was helpful and informative, giving us a tour of the space. I really like the lobby and outdoor area. They provide board games, yoga mats, and other activities to entertain your stay.

I was amazed by the quality of the food from their cafe. I got the shrimp tacos. They were flavorful and juicy. With live music at the background, it’s a cozy ambiance all around.

Regarding the room, we stayed at the Safari tent, pretty cozy and got all the essentials for a night stay. It was tricky to start fire on your own with only matchsticks, so ask the staff for help for an easy fix. The bathhouse was really clean and modern. It still has a slight scent of woods which I enjoyed.

Overall, highly recommended! Will be back and visit other UC locations in the States!

We brought our extended family for a glamping experience while visiting the Grand Canyon, and really enjoyed the experience. It was really impressive how much thoughtful design the team put in to provide a camping experience, while still offering the modern comfort touches like a hot water shower, flushing toilet, and a comfortable bed. There are many helpful amenities throughout the site, from excellent camping lamps, to outside deck for starglazing, to fire pites for s'mores. Most of all, very impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff are. They genuinely try to make the stay as comfortable as they can while maintain a bit of the "adventure" edge.

Please understand that if you are looking for a high end "glamping" experience, which the price would certainly suggest, you will absolutely not receive that. We arrived on a cold night. There is no heat (or air conditioning for that matter) in the tents. We were instructed on how to light a fire in a small fireplace unit and told to "add firewood every hour throughout the night to keep it going. Think about that when you're spending 600+ dollars per night. One of us did make a fire initially but gave up as no significant heat was given off. We were given hot water bottles to sleep with (kept their heat for the first hour or two). We had the worst night of sleep and cancelled our second night -which they refunded me the money. The food is good but overpriced. All in all, not the experience I was thinking I was getting. BTW paid extra for the star gazing tent but no one considered scraping the snow off the window over the bed. It's that level of service. Very disappointing overall.

We had an unforgettable stay at Under Canvas Grand Canyon! The location is perfect – just a short drive from the South Rim but far enough away to enjoy peace, quiet, and incredible starry skies. The tents were clean, cozy, and surprisingly luxurious, with comfy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. The staff were warm, helpful, and always ready with great local tips. We especially loved the nightly campfires with s’mores and live music – such a magical way to end the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and beautiful glamping experience near the Grand Canyon.
