The Stables Ranch Grille is an absolute gem. The setting is beautiful with a relaxing view of the course and mountains, perfect for a laid-back but upscale meal. The short rib (pictured) was phenomenal; tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Great service, chill vibe, and top-notch food all around. Highly recommend if you're in the area or staying at the Tubac Golf Resort.

We had a wonderful meal here. We had a reservation and ate indoors in a comfortable room with a view towards the golf course and mountains.

Our server , Seamus, was outstanding and the food was excellent. For appetizers we had Cesar’s Salad and a tomato bisque soup. For main courses, we had the Rib Eye steak, Bavarian steak, prawn fettuccine, and pad Thai with grilled chicken. So there is a wide variety of dishes and everything was excellent.

We will definitely be back if we are in the area!

We recently had lunch & we were a large party. We came because my experience 2yrs ago was so good!! Not good this time. I ordered the very same thing. It was the beet w walnuts & fruit salad.
It was so beautiful I took a picture of it. My salad had fresh beets, small quartered beets, fresh fruit, freshly grilled chicken. My recent salad had canned, tiny pieces of
beets, cold dry chicken & fruit did not taste fresh!!
Please improve!! We love ur atmosphere & restaurant, this was disappointing & we spent over $375 for our party. I deserved better.

The restaurant is located in historic Tubac. It was a perfect day to have lunch outside. The meals were delicious. The service was fantastic. Always enjoy meeting friends there for lunch.

Ace provided excellent service and was extremely friendly! My family is not the easiest table to serve and she handled it like pro. My food was delicious, the steak was perfect, and the drinks were great!

This was one of my worst restaurant experiences ever.

My wife and I were visiting friends and took them to dinner here at their recommendation. We arrived promptly for a 5:30 reservation. The restaurant was fairly empty at this time, so they offered us a choice of tables; we took one by the window looking at the golf course. We had not seen each other in several months, so conversation soon occupied us. I did notice the table behind us being sat.

At 6:20, my friend looked around and said "That table that came in after us is eating their entrees, and we don't even have water!" He go the attention of their server and she went to the host desk to see why we had not been served. She said "They sat you at a table without an assigned server. I'll be happy to serve you." That was kind of her and she actually did a fantastic job. We ordered drinks and they came out resonably quickly. We ordered dinner which arrived about 7pm.

I cut open my rib eye and noticed it was slightly over cooked...no big deal. I took a bite and it was room temperature. I was disappointed, but I seldom send anything back, so I figured I'd go ahead and eat it. I cut into the baked potato, and it was colder than the steak! Come on now!! This after being ignored for nearly an hour.

They brought out a new meal, but of course the other three were nearly finished. The steak was cooked correctly and hot, as was the potato and brocolini. The steak was very flavorful as was the rest of the meal.

The server was really great...five stars, but you'd think the hostess or even manager would have come over and apologized for not even bringing water for nearly an hour. All in all, the food was quite good. Being ignored in an uncrowded fine restaurant for nearly an hour and being served very cold food is inexcusable. The manager should have addressed this.

Nice location overlooking golf course. Took 20 minutes post water to get service. Watching people be seated and served ahead of you was frustrating, only increased by the servers not responding to any attempt to attract their attention. This was with 4 tables outside.
After 20 minutes we went inside to find someone and the rationale by German was “we were confused who was meant to be serving you”.
We still managed to order drinks, though will be going to Elvira for lunch instead, see that review for restaurant in Tubac 5 minutes away from here.

Stables is located within the Tubac resort. Fun place to stop in during the Christmas season. Nicely decorated resort and festive environment. Somewhat overpriced. Be prepared to pay $15 for a simple cocktail. Service was friendly, if not the quickest. But then again we went Christmas Eve.
