This will be our first time visiting. Iโ€™m disabled and really hope Iโ€™m close to the water. Does anyone know if there is boat rentals close by Iโ€™ve never stayed in Parker so this visit is the make or break if we will return. I will say the phone info I have gotten has been great

Great place for camping love. The brown bag bar fishing is pretty good. But the best was the front office help Rhonda was awesome.

Way overpriced for what it is. The receptionists are OK, not that friendly and my boyfriend's family has been coming there since the 80's. Last time we came , they gave away our spot we picked out way in advance to someone else just because they were going to stay longer. We decided that this was our last stay ! The water smells and was black when I went to brush my teeth in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. The showers backed up. The whole place is grungy and outdated. No cell service or wifi, the beach is rocky, and bathrooms are far. No clubhouse, and the bar they are finally putting on site has been being built for over a year. Other campsites are the same price and way nicer, I would rather stay at Sandbar or Echo lodge.

This is an RV campground. It extremely hot. You had to stay in the river to stay cool. I ended up leaving getting heat stroke. 120 degrees. Itโ€™s like a desert in a resort. Dry and dusty!

It's not a hotel. It's an RV park! Great location.

We arrived after dark on 10/07/23 and had reservations for River Spot #8. Someone was in our spot, but the office was closed. We were able to park in the next spot over, but we didnโ€™t have a 50 amp plug for power, so we had to use our generator until 10pm to cool it down (in the 90โ€™s) and then rely on battery powered fans to make it through the night. It was nice to wake up to a view of the water and palm trees. There was no grass at the RV spots (as expected for Arizona). We did find grass when we took a short walk down to the boat ramp/marina at the RV Park. People were already water skiing and flying by on their wave runners, which I believe is typical for Colorado River in Parker. This place had a lot of RV spots with many long-term residents. There is a gas station/mini mart across the street that was convenient. After driving around to check out the neighboring RV Parks along the Colorado River, I think we made the best choice for our overnight stay, although I donโ€™t know that I would stay along the Colorado River again unless on the California side.

This place is a dump! They bill themselves as a resort hotel - thats a joke! The clubhouse was empty and locked. No laundry. No restrooms except for the 2 outhouses blocking our river front view of the river. It's dirty and dusty. No place for the dogs to go potty. Front desk was rude and unfriendly. No wifi. No cell phone reception. The only good thing was location. Don't waste your time at all on this one.

Heres the deal...the water smells like eggs. You bring gallon jugs and water bottles.
There is wind storms and dirt roads.....it is what it is. If you don't glamp and want perfect accommodations then don't come.

You come for the river view, the water and the great current....fast enough current to reduce moss and weeds in the water.
The castlerock people know that the comforts of home are in your trailer....make it nice...thats your responsibility.

A river paradise running through the desert is always here waiting for you! Bring sunscreen, a boat, lilly pad or and a swim suit. Most people just want to know you are going to join the fun...not interfere with theirs.
