What a dump! The grounds and lobby look pretty good…except the stains on the lobby couches. The rooms are small and look like they haven’t been touched or updated since the 80’s. The bathroom tiles were cracked and the grout was falling out, only one towel in the room, no conditioner or handsoap, curtains so old and dusty they made me sneeze, I refused to walk on the seriously old carpet, cockeyed lamp shades (it’s the little things), the place is just rundown & is desperate for an update!! It’s gross!! Come on Paris! Tell your family to get it together!!

My first impression was not great. There were no bath towels in the room when I checked in, and the desk lamp bulb was burned out. Frustrating.....but one call to the front desk and it was resolved within a few minutes. OK, a couple of mis-steps, but the response was just as it should be.||The room itself showed a lot of wear, but it was clean enough.||The next morning I went down for breakfast. Hilton Gardens generally have a solid cook-to-order breakfast, and this one is among the best I've had. The food was perfect every morning, and the service was just as it should be. All the details like full silverware, ceramic coffee mugs etc., were correct. Nicely done!||I had dinner one night seated at the bar, and while it was OK, they only had one person serving far too many people at both the bar and tables. As a result it was really slow, though she was making a good effort. ||Overall, I would stay here again based on the people and the service...OK, it's also because of the breakfast. When they do their next renovation, I expect it will be top-tier across the board.

Lobby is nice, but room was lacking. No alarm clock, loose tile in bathroom, “monitor” in the shower so couldn’t get very hot water, furniture didn’t match, and TV was going in and out every few minutes. For this price, I at least expected a complimentary continental breakfast. Apparently it’s continental, but you have to pay for it…Overall a 2-3 star experience. For the price, I’m sure there are more suitable options around.

I loved everything about Hilton Garden Inn Avondale. The staff and service were top shelf. I cannot say enough good things about the restaurant. The prices were very reasonable. It beats Holiday Inn Express many times over.

If you're looking for a hotel that is old and ragged, has squeaky beds, and tiles coming off the floor of the bathroom then this is the place for you. Having stayed at many HGI hotels I was sincerely astonished at the state of this place. While I usually can't go wrong with a Hilton property this went wrong.

Very dissatisfied in this visit, I had used the app and called ahead to pick my room as to not have anyone above me since I was going to be working odd hour shifts, on arrival I was told that room is not the room I was going to get. I had people above me who might as well be dancing up till 3AM when I had to call the front desk. This continued throughout the morning and happened again the next night until 4am. Do not expect great breakfast as you do need to pay a fairly high price for it. Room is very lacking on much, it feels not to much better than a Motel. Not worth the value

So we travel once a month to Phoenix. we usually stay in hotels and for three nights
We finally stayed at a hotel Hilton hotel for the first time and it was disgusting. for the price I paid for the room we might as well have stayed at motel 6. lamp fell over ame we were in a cloud of dust. Hotel is supposed to be smoke but the whole hotel smells like weed so strong it made me sick. Rooms were so dirty allergies were activated
