Nice little Italian restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Complementary brussetta with the bread is very good. I had a Trio appetizer to start, then the Veal Piccata with the white wine lemon sauce. Delicious and definitely will be back.

Everything was wonderful. All of the sauces were great. The veal was cooked perfectly. The carbonara was outstanding. We had a very lovely meal.

I just wasn't very impressed with it. Our waitress sat us and didn't even greet us or get a drink order. Then she proceeded to seat another table that she did greet and did get drinks for before coming back to our table to even take a drink order. Calamari was nice and crispy. It tasted good but was not seasoned very well. My biggest complaint was the veal marsala. It was the worst piece of veal I've ever had. Tiny, chewy little piece and it came with mashed potatoes instead of pasta. Which I did not expect at the pasta factory. The sauce was good but for the price, just not worth it. My son's spaghetti bolognese was not good either. The noodles have a weird texture. I would not recommend.

So we really wanted to love this place. It had great reviews so we decided to try it and don’t think we will be back.

I ordered the chicken parm. It came with two unnaturally uniform, commercially processed breaded chicken patties that I am positive were frozen Tyson chicken patties. Sauce was no better than store bought.

Wife had the baked Ziti. Again, seemed like store bought pasta.

The restaraunt also needs a makeover. Very dark.

The bright spot in this experience was the waitress. She was personable, attentive….very good experience with the staff.

Here is the paridox with this place. The menu and recipes look awesome. The ingredients are severely lacking.

If they used more quality ingredients, this place would be awesome.

Tried this for the first time on Friday night looking for a local Italian restaurant. It was super cute. Small and intimate and in downtown old Avondale. Prices were reasonable. We had lasagna and shrimp scampi with caesar salad. Portions were enough and food was good. We will definitely return. Nice date night.

tl;dr: not worth the expense for flavorless, small portion sizes, and "just okay" food. will not be returning.

my boyfriend and I were looking for a local Italian place to try, and this had high reviews. sadly, we just weren't impressed. we ordered a to-go order of chicken alfredo, the trio (lasagna, spaghetti, chicken parm), and a slice of tiramisu.

the portions were much smaller than we expected for spending $50+. the alfredo sauce tasted more like an elevated butter sauce than alfredo, mostly flavorless. the trio portions were much smaller than anticipated (i.e. the lasagna was *maybe* 2x2 inches). the pasta was just okay. the texture of the chicken parm was great, but again, lacking flavor or seasoning.

what I'm most disappointed about is the tiramisu. there weren't any layers. it was just an inch of mascarpone and a tiny layer of ladyfingers at the bottom, so wet that it looked like a shot of espresso was poured in before set it in the container. it lacked flavor profile, wasn't sweet, and just overall bland.

overall, it got the job done for my Italian craving, but I can't see myself returning.

This place has some amazing homemade food ! So delicious! Its family owned and the family treated us like family! We’ll definitely be returning for more. The chef was so nice and did half and half sauces for me because i wanted both. They cater to you liking and the overall experience was great !
