Very great service I will come here again just because how well I was treated. The margaritas or phenomenal the chips & salsa were super fresh tasting and delicious. I love how they make fresh guacamole in front of you. The nachos were to die for! I just wish the chicken fajitas were more presentable and more filling. Sadly, they were very mediocre.

The place was overall clean, although the table they sat us at was dirty. There was only 1 other table occupied in the middle of the day on a weekend (should have taken that as a sign) but took quite a while for someone to come take our order and then we never saw the server again until she dropped off the check. The food was disgusting!!! I got two tacos one was supposed to be a shrimp and steak. I got ONE little baby shrimp and a few flakes of what I assume was supposed to be the meat, most of it was just onions. We also got a bowl, chicken was dry. Even the chips were old and stale! Usually I would give place a few tries but this isn't a place I would recommend at all.

Went for restaurant week. It was fairly slow on a Sunday evening and there were only 4 tables being used on the entire patio but it took 15 minutes to get a margarita, due to dietary issues decided to get the $36 fajitas with steak and shrimp - there were 4 shrimp on the plate and about 4 ounces of steak that had no grill marks, like it was microwaved. The beans and rice was on the side and the cup of beans was only half full. Weak portions and quality, slow service.

The hosts told us we would need to wait 15 minutes for a table because there weren’t enough servers to accommodate the number of guests dining. Fair, we waited, no problem. I think they maybe should have had us wait longer, because our service was terrible. We sat for 5 minutes with food without silverware, that level of terrible. My enchiladas were delicious, but we are absolutely in no hurry to go back.

Service was great. Environment was good. Food lacked. I got the Barrio Bowl for $15 which has chicken and I added shrimp for $8. They skipped the chicken, everything was pretty dry due to the cheap lettuce and the bowl was dirty. Not getting this again if I even decide to go back.

Honestly, my husband and I were hoping to have a nice date night prime time to eat out in any restaurant and we noticed it wasn’t very busy to begin with the hostess was uninterested didn’t greet us. Didn’t say hello. Acted like we were a bother from the moment, we walked up to the hostess stand. I had to be the one to say hello to her And it went downhill from there. The margarita flight honestly was awful. I used to get an awesome berry margarita they don’t even have it anymore. When I ordered a mango margarita instead, the tequila tasted so cheap. It was awful. I could barely drink it.The food was beyond terrible and when I spilled one of the tiny margaritas on the table, the staff literally left it there didn’t even attempt to clean it up. I’m so disappointed in our experience. My only advice to the manager or owner of this restaurant is actually monitor and see what’s going on. Don’t take Avondale business for granted we deserve better than that.

We went for brunch... so glad because I'd nearly forgotten how much I liked chorizo con huevos!
It was mid day on the weekend, still quiet and we enjoyed a table outside. Our service was friendly and attentive (but not overly).

Visited this location with high hopes since it says “authentic”. Unfortunately the food wasn’t what we expected. I got the elote it was soft not crisp and had no real spice to it. As well for chili relleno which was nowhere close to authentic. It was not breaded it had barely any cheese in it and had this red tomato salsa on it? It was unexpected. Quesadilla was disappointing also and for the price you would expect it to be more filling. The pozole verde was good had flavor and I would definitely get that again. But overall the service and atmosphere was welcoming and nice but I’ll probably just go to another Mexican restaurant next time.
