I came here three years ago on a trip to Phoenix and it was the first place I came when I returned. This cafe is the cutest. The coffee is great, I got mine with oat milk and the oat milk was good. The interior is very charming, with different little nooks to sit in. There’s also some merch including t shirts, tote bags and stickers. This place is just so full of charm. I’ll be sure to come again on my next visit.

Such an adorable place in the middle of a big city!
Their hot tea selection was amazing... I strongly recommend the lavender English black tea. My husband enjoyed the iced chocolate mocha
Also loved their bacon breakfast burrito and the gluten-free peanut butter cookie!

I travel quite a bit for work and having grown up in NYC, always look for small businesses to support. In the middle of a part of Phoenix that is “overdone” Songbird is a rare gem. It has amazing art district, Brooklyn-esque vibes and I wish I were staying longer so I could come back. The Macha Chai (Spicy) Latte with some CBD was to die for. If you’re in Phoenix and you enjoy coffee, tea, breakfast burritos, chia pudding, cool places, and amazing cookies.. look no further. In addition, I wrote the NYC chocolate guides under the name “Professor Chocolate”.. and will say that the homemade mocha flavoring is incredible (my wife got the mocha with a PB cookie).

The operation may seem small but do not let that fool you, they make their drinks like pros! The teas are made to perfection, with timers, so it’s not oversteeped! The cappuccino was great! I loved my matcha!
The inside and outside are cozy and they have so many seating options!

I love the atmosphere it is very calm and compose. I went with cappuccino which was perfectly balanced and so smooth. Second I went with latte which was also good and their bakery item super star breakfast cookie I loved it must try 😊

What an awesome little place. Feels like a slice of heaven in downtown Phoenix. The staff is incredibly sweet and work together very well. Doesn't hurt that the pastries (especially the coffee cake) and coffee taste great! I went back twice in two days during my visit.

In search of matcha I found myself here on a gorgeous sunny day! What a lovely atmosphere with warm inviting energy to make you feel at home. Frank was delightful sharing a common taste for coffee cola which I will try on my next visit. I got an iced matcha lemonade & it was just what I needed.

This coffee house deserves all the 5 stars

Great espresso, coffee cake was amazing, and multiple seating options inside and outside!

They offer wifi and the restroom was clean. It is also in a really cute, walkable area - only a few blocks from the light rail, so no need to try and find street parking.

Also, a coffee house cat 😺 Love!
