I can't say enough great things about The Whispering Moose Bed and Breakfast, or about James and Cheryl, for that matter! The beds were super comfortable, the towels were the softest I've ever used, everything was incredibly clean, but cozy at the same time. Cheryl cooked us an amazing, delicious breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I wish we could have stayed longer, and we'll definitely be back if we're ever lucky enough to visit Alaska again!

We brought our 82-year-old dad here on our way to Denali. We spent two incredible nights at the whispering Moose.. Cheryl is the most amazing hostess! Her breakfasts are five star and the accommodations are so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. The views of the lake from our bedroom window changed by the hour; visits fro ducks, eagles and other local birds. We kayaked in the afternoon and sat by the fire in the evenings. ||||This B&B is a gem of Wasilla. Cheryl gave us perfect recommendations for day trips and local (non tourist) places to eat. ||||Highly recommend a stop here for a few days as you travel through Alaska.

We have the best experience ever in Wasilla, Alaska, because of The Whispering Moose Bed and Breakfast and its owners Cheryl and James||We couldn't be in a better place! The house is beautiful, cozy and so comfortable. As a guest, you can appreciate and enjoy all the details that make you feel at home in the best place of Alaska. The structure of the house allows you to feel totally independence in the first floor, but at the same time you have the opportunity to share with Cheryl and James every time you want.||The Matanuska room was very nice, spacious, so comfortable, the lake view is amazing and the bed is the best! It is perfect for a family but also for a group because have three additional beds plus the amazing queen.||Originally I asked for The Knik Room, but Cheryl surprise us with an upgrade to The Matanuska Room. We really appreciated this big detail.||The bathroom is big and very nice, we really appreciate the warm showers||The breakfast was delicious! Cheryl is an amazing cook! We enjoy it and also we were pampered with the most delicious cookies and very nice conversations.||You feel the peace and beauty of the place, it is a perfect place for relaxing and write a book.||The location, Seymour Lake, it was perfect for us because the reason for our trip was to attend a wedding very close in the same lake, but we have the opportunity to enjoy the main attractions in the area because it is a great location closer and easier to drive from there.||Our little boy enjoys more than anybody else! He was really pampered by Cheryl and James, they were really amazing! We have unforgettable memories of James playing ukulele with our son, his funny jokes and Cheryl hospitality and sweetness! The yard is beautiful and we enjoy the lake using the boat. Our son couldn't be more happy in the tree house. ||Without a doubt we want to come back and we strongly recommend The Whispering Moose Bed and Breakfast to everybody who are thinking to go to Wasilla, Talkeetna or around there.||Thank you Cheryl and James! Love The Whispering Moose and will be staying here again!! I headed to Alaska to fly float planes, the guy I was flying with (Alaska Flying Adventures) recommended this B&B for my stay. What a treat. The host are great people in every since of the word. The house is absolutely perfect. The woodwork, furnishing, cleanliness and breakfast was all top notch. The host also provide a lot of common space so your group will have plenty of space to spread out and relax inside and out. An enormous lawn leading to the edge of a beautiful lake fills your windows with epic Alaskan sunrises. The lake was quite during my visit with an occasional float plane using it for a runway, there was no extra charge for that cool experience:). I have no doubt you will love this B&B, Wasilla, the Meadow Lake area and Alaska. Just 5 minutes off the highway but feels like a back country cabin.

What an amazing time we had here! Theroom was amazingly comfortable, the food was five star and the view was picturesque!||||The Whispering Moose is close to fishing, Talkeetna, the sled dog museum, the river for picnics and fishing and has a Great Lake right outside the front door. Peace, quiet and beauty all in one place!||||Cheryl and James are the best hosts ever!

They were gracious in serving up a delicious, big breakfast and let us feed the swans on the lake. It had very clean rooms which were spacious and located in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our time at the Whispering Moose b-and-b. Cheryl and James couldn't have been better hosts. We had a very relaxing evening sitting outside by the lake, retired to comfortable beds and had a delicious breakfast in the morning.

I can’t recall the last time I’ve felt so much hospitality at a place I’ve stayed. The room was inviting and the food was the best I could have asked for. We loved hanging out outside by the fire, feeding the dozens of ducks and couple swans that came right up to us. The owners were always there to build a fire or made tea and were fun to converse with. Overall just a fantastic experience. The location right on their lake was gorgeous too.
