This is one of the most inexpensive stores in the whole Inside Passage! I didn't want to pay for a tour to pan gold.. but Daniel, with his carisma and engagement convinced my family to give it a try! Needless to say, we loved the experience! Daniel and Montana were so nice and welcoming that we didn't feel like we were at a store or in a tourist trap! We truly enjoyed our time with them! When you visit, please say HI to Daniel and Montana! And let them know that Rick is not the best.. but Daniel and Montana are (inside joke)!

Went to The Mill at Ward Cove on a cruise and my BF bought some huckleberry dark chocolate as a souvenir but when I got home I didn't know it was his and I accidentally gave the chocolate to the wrong person (who said it was excellent!) and I felt terrible for my BF. I emailed The Mill at Ward Cove and asked them if they would ship me replacement chocolate and sure enough they did! I was so impressed that they went out of their way to do that for me. I can't get huckleberry chocolate on the east coast so they really saved me by shipping that for me. Great customer service. When the chocolate arrived my BF was very happy and he also said it was excellent.

Very big souvenir warehouse, but it also had a lot of historical items in it as well. A lady was doing some singing while we waited to get on the shuttle. Walking to the mill from the cruise ship was an incline, so be aware of that. People with walkers might have some issues, but once you are in the building, it's all flat. Restrooms are available as well.

This is definitely a tourist trap for those that are cruising with NCL as there are no other places to shop nearby. And being 20 minutes of shuttle bus from Ketchikan (that have very long line and hour before the last shuttle from downtown) this place is definitely a tourist trap.

On the other hand, it’s not a bad place. The place is clean, large, and well-ventilated. The gifts sold on the shop are pretty nice. They have a great selection of jackets, hoodies, and shirts. They are selling many other gift items as well. The place also have a clearance section.

The excursions departing from this place is excellent and well organized. The shuttle bus leaving here to Ketchikan is also well organized. There is live music being played at the store.

The place is just a short walk from the terminal if you are cruising by NCL.

Amazing! If you’re on encore cruise best place to get gifts and gear. Everywhere else was overpriced. Also food was amazing. The Cookies are so soft and I don’t like seafood but their crab rolls at The Crab Shack were so good!

Great stop on our cruise. The mill at Ward Cove is a great venue. The Jumping off point for Ketchikan, AK. Ample shopping, with good prices and my favorite a GOLD PANNING experience hosted Daniel. Yes I found gold, always a plus. Check out Norwegian Cruises.

The Crab Shack is right off the cruise port. Lots of shopping and the perfect snack afterwards. I can’t believe how tasty the bisque and single leg was. Worth every penny. Jo and the home boys are serving up nothing but greatness. Make sure to stop by and support!
