Rob & Val were extremely friendly and personable during our stay with them while on Prince of Wales doing residential construction & gutter installations. We really enjoyed the "off the beaten path" feel and quiet setting. There was wildlife all around, and the lodge is extremely comfortable. Made our work trip feel like a vacation. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Excellent place to stay while in the POW. Stayed in both apartments with our family. Both were very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy our time. Beautiful location right on the ocean with beautiful views. Hosts were great. Answered all our questions promptly and made sure we had everything we needed. We will stay here again when we return to the POW.

Such an amazing place. Right on the ocean with everything you need to have a great time on Prince of Wales. Full apartments, tv, wifi, hot tub, grill, deck, picnic table, the works. The couple who run it are so sweet and can tell you anything you want to know about the island. And the view. Is. Incredible. Mountains, ocean, eagles, deer, otters, seals, sunsets... The pictures speak for themselves. You can't choose a more peaceful or beautiful place to spend your time.

This place was so far beyond what we dared expect - like a very upscale hotel suite with a full kitchen, bedrooms, and huge front room. Beautiful (and newly remodeled) apartments with great furniture, front-loading washer/dryer, big screen, cozy fireplace and big windows opening onto a gorgeous view (deck included). Rob and Val are like old friends who go out of their way to help you enjoy the island.||It's the first left past the airport (Salt Chuck Lane), down the long winding road; once you pass the Salt Chuck Community sign it's the first home on the 5th driveway to the right. ||If Prince of Wales island weren't so remote this would easily be a $300+ per night accommodation.

We rented both rooms for our family trip. The owners met us upon our arrival. The rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. The view of the bay is breath taking. We watched bear across the way while we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and while we bbq'd our salmon in the evenings on patio. An outstanding place to stay!|

I've stayed a couple of other places on PoW, but from now on I'll always stay here when it's available. The only reasonably priced place that we weren't a little disappointed with when we saw it. I'd pay even more.

This is way off the beaten path on Prince of Wales Island but the owner's are very nice and go out of their way to provide great accommodations.
