We stayed 2 nights at Hillcrest Manor and we're very happy with our stay. Our other options were the corporate hotels downtown, which I'm sure we're fine, but this place was actually less expensive, and included a really delicious breakfast--served to you. We stayed in the Lady Perry room which was spacious and very comfortable. Yeah, the place might have seen better days in places, but really that added to its charm and all was very clean. March was a gracious host. The Legacy Museum and downtown were a 4 minute drive. Our stay here enhanced our Montgomery experience.

Enjoyed a lovely three night stay at Hillcrest Manor. Mrs Mary and Mr March were gracious hosts. The lady by the sea room was comfortable. Early September the weather was mild. My friend and I pulled extra blankets from the closet for warmth. This is a great base to explore the Legacy sites or go to an Auburn football game. Free parking at the rear of the manor. Breakfast was delicious. I hope more family and friends visit Hillcrest in the future

We stayed at Hillcrest for my 60th high school class reunion. Simply I cannot be too appreciative of the ambiance and condition of the property. The home is outstanding and beautiful and definitely exudes the character of a mansion from days gone by. We stayed in the Lord Marchman room and could not have been more pleasantly accommodated. From the room to the food and all arrangements we had a wonderful time and totally enjoyed the experience. Being originally from Montgomery this certainly
made for a great homecoming as well as
a memorable reunion. Several attendees had not been through the mansion so we delighted in giving them the tour. What a wonderful weekend we spent in a beautiful home with the gracious and delightful owners/hosts. A totally super experience!

Loved the history& southern hospitality. We were welcomed into their beautiful home. The neighborhood was very run-down, but we could tell at one time it was probably top knotch. Gardens aren't kept up way they once were, but still enjoyed the stay. My wife&I loved the breakfast& romantic vibe the home created. I would stay again if opportunity allows.

This historical B&B is a quaint and peaceful step back in time with the most delightful couple who take care of everything and know how to make you feel special. They prepared absolutely the best breakfast in the deep south! Had the place to ourselves and it was just what we needed!

Such a stunning property! Only made better by such a lovely host and hostess. We stopped for the night on our way down toward the beach and stayed in the Lady by the Sea room. The room was gorgeous and very clean (and I am very picky on that!). The house itself is amazing. The main rooms downstairs and the library are just breathtaking. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. My favorite part was the peach parfait with lemon curd. It was to die for! I could eat that daily for the rest of my life. Highly recommend this property.

We were looking for accommodations in Montgomery that were more unique than the chain hotels downtown. We were able to easily book a room on their website. Mary checked with us on our arrival time and we received a warm welcome on check in. The house is historic and the owners have done a great job of renovating and decorating it. We stayed in the Lady Perry Room, which has a vintage tall canopy bed. There is also a nice lounge which looks like it would be great for relaxing and reading a book. In the morning they served a delicious home-cooked breakfast in the sun room. Easy five minute drive to downtown. Ample free parking in the back.
