Really good restaurant. the food was exceptional. I really enjoyed the cheese dip and salsa. The service was really good and I had a beautiful waitress, that always makes it better. I really recommend this place for anyone looking for good Mexican food and great margaritas. I will definitely go back to this restaurant.

This was our 1st and last time coming here. We were sat down with no menus, had to ask. Our server Aura walked asked what we wanted to drink and walked off before we could even order an appetizer. After we ordered the cheese dip and she dropped it off she disappeared for 10 minutes. She was standing up in the front of the building talking with friends and completely ignoring us. We finally ordered and the food came out my husband's order was from and he tried to ask her questions and she just walked away. When she came back he explained that it was not what he ordered and did not want to eat it because it didn't taste good. Is she then stood by the drink station I assume and stared at us while my son and I finished our food. It was very upsetting and a little bit creepy. We never saw a manager, no one came to apologize about the food, and she didn't even ask if he wanted something else. Very disappointing. Next the check was dropped off just sat on our table and she walked off. Comes back 30 seconds later with her machine to pay and stands in front of us and stairs at us wanting us to pay right then. Put the card in she set the machine on the table and walked off again. She came back picked up her machine we asked for a printed receipt she walked off grabbed it set it on our table and left. We have been in the service industry for 20 years now, we understand when somebody is maybe having a bad day or something however that's no way to get customers to come back.

My sister decides to order San Marcos, so I called the order in on MY phone. My husband and I went to pick it up using her debit card. Everything was great, but I received a message that said...

"Welcome to San Marcos Millbrook reward points, Powered by Toast!

Click here to view your loyalty account:..."

...followed by a link. When I clicked on the link, it automatically took me to the Toast App website which CLEARLY had my sister's debit card information already! All I had to do was fill in a name and address to receive rewards of $2.50 off my next purchase (for every 50 points I earned, which is 1 point per $1).

Since when was it legal to send credit/debit card information to third party apps from San Marcos? It certainly wasn't my card in the first place, but to sell out info in the first place, and then send the message to the phone number that placed the order?

Call me Karen cause I'm making a complaint and I need to talk to the manager! 😡 Gonna write a review AND look up Toast and see who else is linked with them! This is NOT okay!

Great place to go for authentic Mexican food. Their dishes are like no other Mexican restaurant around. Service is good, and the drinks are always on point. Always worth a stop whenever in the area. Definitely an area favorite. I have not found a dish that I don't like!

Food was excellent but the service could have been better. I couldn't understand the waiter and was not checked on after we got our food and we all ran out of drinks we was in there yesterday for lunch

Ate at San Marcos on 3/7. Service was ok. Ordered chicken fajitas. They arrived on a plate, not a skillet, and plate wasnt very hot. Food was not as good as it is normally. Lacked flavor. My son had loco chicken and he said his was good.
I think the components of my order were cooked separately, then combined on my plate, hence no real flavor as wasnt cooked together. Took half home, not gonna eat it. Waiter was good.

Had a very delicious meal in a cozy environment with very good service. Our Ladies luncheon from our church loves this little place. If you want some good Mexican food, come try this restaurant. We had a good time lots of laughs. The entrees are amazing and we all had leftovers to take home.
