Guess I got the short end of the stick! Me and my father went to restaurant. We usually have there breaksfast which is pretty good. We had there rib plates in the past. It was pretty decent until recently.

I order 3 rib plates which included two sides and order corn muffins and tea. My order was $40. The plate does not look $40 worthy. Mac n cheese not pleasing and collard greens I had to add extra to make it tasty.

What got me is I was not informed they ran out corn muffins and look to see was on my ticket. I called on my way to the place to let them I'm on way. The lady inform me I wasn't. Charged for it even though it was on my ticket.

Before I left I ask for condiments like bbq sauce in cup. Not bbq sauce no napkins no forks. I thought I atleast have slice bread for my dad plate. Nothing!!! Good Grief!!! SMH

Great place. I've driven past it many times, and I didn't know it was there. The food is great, and the people are friendly. Stop by next time you're hungry! The slaw is out of this world, and I hope the recipe never changes.

Just a glitch as usually eating here is a good thing. I got fried chicken, sweet potato casserole, fried okra and collards. All was good except the collards. They were seasoned with hot sauce and upon taking a bite I experienced the burning that goes with hot sauce. Yuck, I don't ever use hot sauce and in the South, it is usually in a bottle on the table so that one can use as much as one wants or doesn't. Such a disappointment in paying for something I couldn't eat.

Food is way overpriced and not very good. The turkey was pre-cut, dried up and not very good. The collard greens are definitely can collars. Will not return. The bill for 2 = $64.00 😲

I placed a call in order for a few orders for me and my co-workers. When the order was picked up the loaded brisket fries looked like crumbs of meat on top. I order a smoked salad that had toppings on it I didn't want, and the overall salad was just not good. When I called to voice my opinion about the order I was told the meat for the fries was 3oz. I explained to her we took a picture and it was not the amount of meat she kept saying was on there. All in all I convinced my co- worker this was good food and everyone was disappointed with the food.
