This hotel is by far the best one we have ever seen for such a nice price point. Mimi and 2 grandkids we come over to dothan during the summer or worm days to stay and swim in the pool usually during the weekend we stay 2 nights. The first hotel we went to the pool was horrible so Saturday we came over to this one and the manager Sara and the other staff has exceeded the expectations of what a hotel should be like. I must say this hotel is a must stay best pool and rooms we have ever seen we will definitely be back.

Just checked out this morning after a weekend stay at Townplace Suites in Dothan. We've stayed here many times when visiting this area. The hotel is an excellent choice, well maintened and in a great location. I was inspired to write this today becatof the very nice lady who checked us in & out this weekend. "Sarah" made us feel really welcomed and is a wonderful person to be the face of the hotel as travelers arrive. Thanks Sarah, we hope to see you again soon.

I absolutely love staying at this particular hotel. The manager Sara was so friendly and welcoming wish made my stay alittle bit more enjoyable. However, I do wish they had one meat option such as chicken or turkey sausage for the Weekend Breakfast.

This was a nice hotel! The room was clean and well laid out. The staff were very friendly and made it a point to make sure that we had everything needed during our stay. The breakfast buffet was kept well stocked and there was a nice area outside where we ate in the sunshine. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you again for your hospitality!

We checked in Friday evening (8/9/24). The lobby was beautiful, clean and smelled great. The two Sarah’s at the front desk were very helpful and kind.
The sheets were a little dingy but all in all, the rooms were okay.
However, my main concern was breakfast Saturday morning. I brought my family down to have breakfast but had to sit in the lobby and wait for the housekeeping staff to get breakfast. After a few minutes, we did go back up to the room due to the staff making and getting food with no gloves.
They appeared very sloppy and were talking loud and inappropriately in front of my children. Definitely feel like Marriott can do better! 6/10 recommend.

This property is in serious need of maintenance and cleaning. While the common areas are nice and well kept, the rooms are disgusting and in poor condition. The first room I went into was so gross I walked right back out, and the second wasn’t much better. Stained bedding, sticky surfaces, hair everywhere, holes, dust, dirt, and even a dried, bloody booger. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

On the other hand, the front desk staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast was on par with the typical Marriott offerings. This location did have an EV charger.

All said, stay somewhere else.

Dothan is a quaint town with all the Southern hospitality that you could ask for and this hotel is no exception. From Sarah at the front desk going out of her way to help me keep my groceries cold when delivered, to Rocky grabbing me quarters. Clyde helped me charge my electric vehicle and get it set up, of which they have 3! Becky is a welcoming host and pointed us to all the best restaurants and shops, helping us find the best food and deals in town. Overall the hotel is central to everything and the rooms are comfortable. The in room fridge and range are helpful, with plates, utensils and pans of you want to cook. Miss Cassandra makes an amazing breakfast so don’t miss that. For anyone here for a sports event in Dothan, this is the spot! thank you to everyone for making our stay so comfortable and memorable!

Best place in town to stay! We brought a whole baseball team here, and another was staying there at the same time. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were perfect. The lobby is super huge and perfect for groups to hang out together. No complaints at all. If you're traveling anywhere near Dothan, stay here!
