Places like this in small towns need to survive! It has an area to dine inside and a covered area outside when the weather is nice. The food is great and the people are very friendly. The chips and salsa are some of the best I've ever had. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend and go back!

This is the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in Jasper. I recently moved back after a couple of decades. I found this spot a few years back while visiting. It’s amazing.

The street tacos are my favorite. And, the taco salad is one of my go to’s. They have the best salsa I’ve eaten in years. And , the guacamole is great too.

The owners and servers are all family. They are so kind and friendly. Stop in. You will be glad you did.

We had the taco salad. at 1st glance it looked small but it was the perfect size. probably not for a grown man. The taste was great. we enjoyed our visit and would come again

If you ever find yourself in Jasper Alabama you need to try this place. My husband had the Burrito Grande and I had the Chicken Enchiladas. The food was tasty, with just the right amount of heat. We shared queso with chips and it was delicious too. We sat outside under the awning and enjoyed our lunch as it rained off and on. Staff is friendly and helpful. Seriously good restaurant.

I have read the reviews of 1 and 2 stars. Mostly complaining about the prices, folks this ain't Taco Bell. This is AUTHENTIC cuisine. I am a regular and so far, haven't had anything I disliked. As for the "small cafeteria" comment, there's nothing "serve yourself" about this place. Salsa is on point and I buy it in PINTS. Tortillas are hand made! Mainstreet Taqueria is my go to place to eat hands down.

Been on a road trip for 6 days and slid in off the interstate. By far the best food we have tasted. All fresh and home made. Clean and friendly. The salsa with the warm chips is just a hint of the good tastes to come. Enchilada Tamale plate was amazing. Wife has the steak street tacos and was as pleased as I was with my plate.

Ordered the Chicken fajita quesadilla and it was absolutely delicious. Would recommend you to try it because it is definitely worth it
