What do you get when you place a steakhouse in a old Pizza Hut? The perfect combination of great food and a down home atmosphere. From the temperature of my steak(perfect medium rare), the tastiness of dessert, and my excellent service from Jessica. My expiations were blown away. A must try! Better than any chain restaurant around!!

Highly recommend if you're in the area. Great food, hospitality and very clean establishment! Also, Jessica P my waitress was ahhmazing! She has southern hospitality and charm to match with her wonderful work ethic. Drinks were never empty and she was always keeping the table up to date on order or other needs. Great job Jessica 💯

We have eaten here 4 times now and enjoyed all. We have had chicken fingers for lunch(enough for two ot take home left overs), fried chicken salad, chicken parmesan, chicken sandwich with spicy feta sauce and ribeye. For sides we have had salad, baked potatoes, green beans and fries. We would recommend any of these. Casual and unpretentious but nice enough for a little celebrating of a special day. Located in a former Pizza Hut. Feels a bit nostalgic if you are old enough to remember the '80's😉

Our waiter was right on point. Very good service. Our food came out hot fresh and very tasty. If it were my restaurant I would add a little more atmosphere but if you're going for dinner and good service you're in the right place!

The food and service were absolutely great! The food was fantastic and fresh. Hands down the best steaks I've had outside of ATL or Birmingham. No place around branded as a steakhouse actually excels as once. This is the only exception! Calhoun Steakhouse is an *actual* steakhouse, as by definition, a steakhouse should have a minimum of 5 cuts. I ldo believe there were 5 on the menu, and the two we ordered were cooked to perfection. I constantly have to order steaks rare for them to come out medium rare, but they nailed it. The atmosphere is brought on by the customers and warm staff. It doesn't feel quite lived in and welcoming as a stand-alone building, but the staff and local customers make it feel full of life. Will be back for sure. It's probably the only place I'll go for steaks now if I don't want to cook.

After much excitement to have a “great” steak, the picture is what I received after spending $63 for pick-up and giving him a $10 tip. Our steaks were supposed to have been medium! Our understanding of medium is mostly gray with a think strip of pink. My husband called them and told him of what we received and all that was said was, “I'm sorry!” Sorry doesn't cut it! My loaded baked potatoe was so dry that I could not even eat it! Being furious right now is an understatement! No, I will not be recommending Calhoun Steakhouse to any of my friends! I was so excited about eating there because of the reviews!

Second visit i was SUPER disappointed. The dip was good, but my $23 Ribeye was really tough. I was bummed my dinner came immediately after my salad, but i only had a few bites of the steak(it was not good) and ended up just eating the salad and a bit of the potatoes. The waitress asked if i wanted to see the manager but it would've been embarrassing because i was in the middle of the restaurant by myself.

Great food! The bread is yummy, good butter, salad was nice and crisp. The macaroni and cheese was recommended and did not disappoint. I ordered the 6oz. sirloin and it was done perfectly and was tender. We got the spicy feta cheese appetizer and it was good as well. I will 100% o back again!

Farmhouse style steakhouse. The server was friendly and worked hard to take care of our every need. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and tasted so good! Wonderful food. Clean and bright atmosphere. Very friendly.
